aren't you happy?

i layed down on the patio. "seriously guys?" i asked trying to fill the silence. Ross got out of the pool and sat next to me. i looked at him, squinting and putting my hand above my eyes to block the sun. he was about to say something when my phone rang. i reach back to my phone that was on one of the chairs and looked at the text. it was nick.

"hey can i stop by in like 10? need to talk.- n"

"yeah. se ya then ;)" i answered then stood up.

"guys i have to go. see ya later." i said and everyone said bye and as i opened their back gate Ross asked why i had to leave. he ran up to me.

"nick said he wants to talk. i hope he asks me to be his girlfriend!" i said smiling. Ross barely giggled.

"good luck. tell me how it goes."

"k. byeee." i screamed as i ran to my house. i heard Ross laugh. i went and got changed and put on little makeup then i put my hair on a messy bun and by then nick was knocking on my front door. i answered it smiling.

"hey ally. I really have to ask you something and i figured i should do it in person so here goes. i had an amazing time with you on our date and...well...i was wondering if you would be my girlfriend?"

i smiled then said "yes. of course ill be your girlfriend." i hugged him and he hugged back. i took in the amazing smell of his cologne before pulling away.

"k well ill call you. i need to get back home now but ill talk to you tonight." nick said while smiling. i smiled back and once he pulled out of my drive way i ran upstairs. i climbed through the window as fast as i could and i ended up falling on my face into Ross' room but i was too happy to care.

i ran downstairs and into the back where everyone was still in the pool. "ahhhh rossssssssssss he asked me to be his girlfriend!! i have a boyfriend and its frickin nick andrewwwwwwwsssss."

everyone was happy for me....except Ross. everyone knew how much i liked him. they all got out of the pool and we went inside. everyone was changing and i followed Ross into his room. i shut the door.

"what is it Ross? why aren't you happy for me?" i asked.

"i just...i don't think hes a...good guy." Ross said without looking at me. everyone who knows nick knows that he's the sweetest guy ever and he's adorable and hes totally perfect..well as perfect as one person can be.

"Ross?"

"can you get out? i have to change"

"whatever." i said with an attitude. i left and slammed the door. i leaned my back against it and then i took a deep breathe. i then saw a shirt less rocky walk out of his room. he was wearing just a pair of sweat pants and his r5 necklace.

"hes not happy for you." rocky said as a statement. not a question. i just nodded. "its obvious he likes you and hes jealous."

"nuh uh Rocky. hes just trying to protect me."

"from nick? hes the sweetest guys ever."

"i know..but whatever. talk to Ross for me?" i asked as i put my hand on my head. rocky nodded. "thanks."
