"A mark..." You whispered, looking at the brand new mark next to your faded scar. It had been years since you fell in love, and you were not looking forward to that experience again. You walked to the beach, one of the few places that you felt safe and could think. ((Sorry for all the people who hate the ocean, I love it.)) As you sat on the sand and watched the horizon, Leo walked up behind you. "Hey." You jumped, "Good gods, Leo. You scared me." He smirked and sat down next to you. "Sorry, Y/N." He noticed your two marks. "What happened the first time?" He quietly asked as your face fell. "When I found out I was a demigod, the monster attacked... and killed him." You bit your lip. "I'm so sorry." Leo said. "It's okay, that was years ago. Do you have any marks?" You said as Leo pulled up his sleeves, He had a ton of red marks, but you noticed a small black mark and smiled. "Who's the girl?" You asked. Leo smirked, "She has beautiful H/C hair, dazzling E/C eyes, and the brightest smile I've ever seen." You looked down, but didn't see your previously red mark turn black, and Leo smiled. "And her name is Y/N." He whispered as you looked up, not believing the words you heard. "Really?" You asked. Leo responded by kissing you on the lips.
