She craves my attention
The attention she doesn't know how to getShe craves my attention
The attention she can no longer obtainI left her for a new a day
A day that shines brighter than the stars
A day that glows more than the moonShe left me for a night
Her shining armor
So dark and dim
With no light
A thief in the night
So heartless and cruel
His actions are foolish
But she still continues to play the fool
overseen by herHer love for him strong
Like a heart beat to a song
it seems wrong,
But she still continues to carry onHer feelings have faded
Like the sunset on the horizonI lost her
In the shadow of the night
I could no longer see
Glaring into The darkness
Of terror and frightThe wicked night
Who plays no role
Not even to a queen
Not even to a game of chess
Oh knight why are you so mean? His feelings are ruthless
Like the cold night he is
The thought of him burns me,
Leaving a scarWhat does she see in him
She asked me to save her
From the endless hurt
I didn't listen
Continuing the game
A game with no controller
Not even a plugOur hearts had a connection
It seemed one us intercepted the lineWhy must it be this way?
Why must we let go?His love for you is all a show
Less of me and less of you"Night and day"
We remincse on what could have beenYou deserve something real
Something you could actually feel
Physically and mentallyWe are who we are
There's no Changing
