While the storm was brewing outside, Logan was too busy cuddling with Jessica to notice the flickering lights. There was thunder in the background, but no rain or lightning yet. It was perfect weather to just stay in all day, and be together.

"Hey, wait," Jessica said, pulling away from Logan for a second. Her long dark brown hair brushed his shoulder, and both of their chocolate eyes stared into each other's souls. "Do you have something?"

"Something....?"

"A flash light, Logan." Jessica laughed, and she watched as Logan snickered at her joke. "Do you have a flash light?"

"For what? We still have pow-"

As if on cue, the lights flickered off, leaving the couple in the dark. Even though Logan could not see her, Jessica rolled her eyes anyway. "Well, can you get that flash light now?"

Logan smiled. "Of course."

"Oh God, I'm so bored." Jessica complained as Logan brought her a cup of peppermint tea. The hot ceramic mug burned at her skin, and she pulled her sleeves over her hands.

"You're so adorable." Logan said, without realizing the words were leaving his mouth. "Just the way you carry yourself is cute."

"Aw, you're so cute saying I'm cute." But then Jessica realized how annoying they must have sounded, and said, "Oh gosh, we sound like 8th graders." And pretended to shiver.

Logan sat on the couch next to her, and through his arm around her shoulder. When the world got cold, he would be her fire. (A/N: This is from a Before You Exit song, Soldier.) "Cold?"

She nodded. "I guess without electricity, it's pretty cold in here." She put down the steaming cup, and stared down at her olive hand, which was now bright red.

After sitting in 10 minutes of complete silence, Logan finally said something. "Well...what should we do now?" He got up, and started pacing the floor. "I'm bored out of my mind here."

"I mean, me too," Jessica agreed, and also stood up. She had already finished her tea, and was about to make another one. "Don't you have any CD's that we could watch on your laptop or something?"

Logan stated, "Well, I might have a few." Then asked, "What are you in the mood for?"

Jessica shrugged through the kitchen, and started to stir another cup of tea. "Anything that isn't scary. How about a little romantic comedy?"

After around 10 minutes of Logan being gone in his room, he returned to the living room. Jessica had already finished her new cup of tea, and was idly waiting for Logan's arrival. "Any luck?"

He shook his head furiously. "I traded movies with Carlos. All he has is a bunch of scary movies like the grudge, the ring, stuff like that. Doubt you're in the mood." He shrugged and plopped himself down into the couch again.

"Well, what do we do now?"

"Well, since we don't have our own movie to watch," Logan started, holding his camcorder. "Why don't we make our own little romantic comedy?"

Jessica, who was now playing the role of Lena Chaplin in the short film "Caught Up", was sitting in the dining room which was now "The coffee shop". She was sipping on another cup of peppermint tea, which had become her favorite. Logan, who was now playing Marc Alexander, walked inside of the "coffee shop" and took a seat next to her.

Jessica said, "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, you don't remember me?" Logan asked, giving a half smile. "From high school. You don't remember me, Marc?"

She threw her face, and pretended to act disgusted. "Oh. Marc. Thee Marc who cheated on me twice, with Blake Irwin."

"That's the one." Logan agreed. It was hard for him to act like a total jerk, because he was just a gentlemen. Yet, he was playing the role perfectly, just because he was an amazing actor.

"Well, I don't want to have anything to do with him." Jessica stormed out of the "coffee shop", and Logan pretended to follow her. After the scene was done, Jessica turned off the camera, saying, "Hey, that was amazing. What's the next scene?

Logan shrugged. "The same as the first. Improving. Since it's a short film, how about we just skip a bunch of stuff, and get to the good part?"

"Won't people be confused?" Jessica asked, laughing.

Logan stated, "Well, nobody's watching it but us."

The next scene, the one where Lena confesses her love for said jerk. She has to pretend to be drunk, which was such a random thing for Logan to make her do. But hey, it doesn't have to make sense, right?

"Marc, I've something to tell you..." She tried to say, slurring her words. She was laying on their bed, under the covers, because in the previous scene Marc had told her to go to sleep.

"'I've,'" Logan said, playfully mocking Jessica's speech. "What is it, Lena?" Logan went close to her face, holding onto one of her hands.

"I... I love..." She said, trying to think of what to say next. But the improve wasn't so easy for her.

"What do you love? Me?" Logan asked, trying to hard to stay in character. But it was so hard with Jessica pretending to be drunk. "Lena, don't fall asleep. Tell me!"

"I love.....cake." She sloppily kissed him, but as they kissed, they couldn't help but laugh and wheeze for air. It took them a lifetime to catch their breath, and finally address what had just happened.

"You love cake? Not even me?" Logan asked, still laughing a bit. He looked at the camera, asking, "Are we going to keep this part, or re shoot it?"

"No, no, keep it. This is gold." Jessica said.

Just then. the lights flickered back on, and they both clapped and cheered. "Well, that was fun." Jessica admitted as they left their room. "Lets never do that again."

"Agreed."
