"About to be on my way mother." I said hanging up the phone. She forgot to tell the family that I was moving in. I been living with a friend. She told me a surprise awaits but I'm not one to be surprised. I loaded the last box on my truck. I was also told that dad was out of town. Convenient for me. I like to leave at night. I got in my truck closing the door. I also had a box in the passenger seat. I've collected a lot of different things over the years. It would take about an hour or two to get there. I took a last look at my home. I started my truck and took a left to the highway.
Anthony's Pov)
I close the bathroom door behind me. I took a shower and got myself ready to sleep. I wasn't really tired. Maya watched my every move. Weird. She hasn't changed her clothes. My room was pretty big. So was my bathroom. "You need to get ready to go to bed. I know humans sleep." I told her. I walked over to the chair beside my bed and sat in it. She didn't move. I frowned. "Do you need to be disciplined?" I asked. She looked at me. "No.." She said slowly walking to the bathroom. "Leave your clothes in there." I said as she shut the door. I then heard the shower start. I scanned the room for my remote. I sighed. It wasn't on my nightstand like where it's supposed to be. I got out my chair and walked to Lamont's room. The door was open. He wasn't in there. I grabbed my remote off his bed. He keeps stealing the battery's out of them. I walked back to my room. The shower stopped running. I sat back in my chair. I turned the tv on. We get some human channels like free form and lifetime. Most of them were vampire channels though. Like news. We did get regular news though. I turned on regular news. "Yes they say it happened right here. Now I am speaking with Olivia Conner. The victims friend." The news reporter said. "Olivia what happened?" She asked the blonde curly haired girl. "Well me and my friend Maya-" She started to say. I turned the channel. To vampire news. It was boring. News is always boring. I had 2 beds in my room. But one didn't have sheets. I thought about making her sleep on that one but it's close to the window she might escape. I'll let her sleep on mine. She finally came out the bathroom and sat on my bed. "Just go to sleep and relax." I told her. She looked at the floor. "I can't.. I don't even know you!.. I don't know where I'm at either." She said. I looked over at her. "Doesn't matter. You'll listen to me." I told her. "Or what?" She asked. "You wanna see?" I asked. She shook her head. "Ok then. You'll meet my brother soon. My other one." I told her. "Is he a weirdo like you.." She mumbled. I clenched a fist then slowly let it go. "Go to sleep. Now." I said sternly lowering my voice. She laid down on the bed. I stood up and moved the blankets on top of her. My phone vibrated. It was Eric. "Move and I'll hurt you." I told her shutting the light off and walking out the hall. I walked down stairs. I slowly opened the back door to not wake anyone up. Vampires having super hearing. I saw Eric's truck. But no Eric. He wanted me to help him with his boxes so he wouldn't have to make 2 trips. I walked over to his truck and he was getting boxes off the back. There was only 5. It's about 11pm right now so yeah it's dark. I got some of the boxes. "Hey little bro!" He said joking me. I rolled my eyes and carried the boxes upstairs. Wish I could erase that. Eric followed behind me. I didn't know where I was supposed to put this stuff. I walked to my room to make sure she didn't move. To my surprise she was sleeping. "So who's that?" Eric asked. I forget he was following me. I walked in my room and put the boxes down near the bathroom and closed my door. Eric stacked his boxes. "I believe I asked you a question." He reminded me. I sighed loudly but not loud enough to wake her up. Eric walked to the side of the bed and looked at her. "Pretty sure if she wakes up she's not gonna want to see a stranger staring at her." I told him directing my attention to the tv. "Well I'm trying to formulate something. Since you haven't answered my question." He asked walking over to the other bed and sitting on it. "Well?" He asked. "She's my pet." I told him hoping he would leave me alone.
