Hey Wattpaders! :)
Here is chapter six, sorry I didn't upload earlier today, I was out my Dad's for a few hours, and we went out for lunch. But here it is, I remember writing this chapter and I am so happy with how it came out, yes this song above is very sad and depressing, but it explains the end of it. Well some of it . . .
Also, this is where I got the idea for the title The Anchor.....
I hope you enjoy it. Let me know, did you expect the ending? Between Max and Allison? Comment down below! I'm writing chapter sixteen, ten chapters ahead. But since I'm uploading twice a week, it's insane!
Anyways, hope you enjoy this chapter! :) Hugs and Kisses,

Chapter Six;
Pushing through the crowd of sweaty bodies I rush out of the club, I step out taking a deep breath I allow the air to come to me and I sigh in relief. The breeze blowing my dress up slightly, I can feel goose-bumps rising on my legs and I stand leaning against the wall.
Sighing along with the cold breeze, I hear heavy footsteps coming towards me. Glancing out from the corner of my eye, I notice Ash walking towards me. His dark brown hair shining from the small street lamp near us, he stands next to me and stares out at the other clubs facing us.
"He cares for you, you know that?" He suddenly said out of the blue.
Taking a breath I can't look at him so instead I continue to stare out at the yard in front of us. "I don't care, I haven't spoken or seen him in five years. Why should I care now?" I ask him.
He shrugs his shoulders. "I don't know what happened between you two, but I can still tell he cares about you. When you moved again he partied and slept with random girls, but he never had that heavy look in his eyes, he had a huge weight pulling him down. You were the anchor to him, and he still likes you a lot. You just don't notice it."
It takes me a few minutes to process his words, before it dawns on me he never did tell Ash what happened between us, after that accident we promised each other that we would never tell anyone about it, and I moved away from him. My own safety. He kept that promised and it shocked me, but why? Because he was my best friend before and we aren't now?
Ash sighs quietly and I look at him for a minute. "He never did tell you what happened between us?" I ask him quietly, wanting closure of it.
He nods his head. "He didn't, I asked him why you moved away and he said he didn't want to talk about and would always change the subject. He kept that promise you two made" He replied before standing up and turned around to go back inside before looking me dead in the eye. "Please talk to each other, you two both need closure. You weren't the only one hurting, he was too."
And with that he turned around and left me along with my thoughts, maybe he did hurt? But that didn't change what he did to me, we promised to never tell anyone. Well I told him not to before the next day I left the country and moved to Italy. That's where I first meet Bonnie, and we instantly became friends.
But did Sam really expect me to believe his best friend didn't just come out of nowhere? He obviously called him to try get me to believe his story. To believe his words and for me to go running back to him, I'm not falling for his games. Shaking my head, I turn around to go back inside the club but to stop at a halt to see Sam standing at the door with his arms crossed at his chest and he's staring directly at me.
