Chapter Sixteen;
Stirring I then manage to open my eyes, the sunlight seeping through the curtains, illuminating the room before I look around at my surroundings. I notice I'm not in my bedroom, before it dawns on me, I'm in Sam's room. Sighing, I drag both of my hands down my face before I stand up and I walk into the bathroom, I turn on the tap before I close the bathroom door. Staring at my reflection, I stare at myself everything floods back to me and Sam' and I's conversation.
Closing my eyes I sigh to myself, hearing a light knock echo through the bathroom, I open the door to see Sam on the other side. Seeing he only has shorts on I immediately notice his tanned stomach with the outline of abs and I feel my mouth drool slightly. Looking back up at him, he raises an eyebrow and my cheeks turn red from embarrassment.
He coughs to excuse the awkwardness. "Sorry to interrupt but breakfast is ready downstairs, come down when you're ready" He said before turning around and leaving the bedroom.
Shaking my head, I sigh to myself. I just made it extremely awkward! Closing the bathroom door again, I then wash my face and run a comb through my tangled hair before I then leave the bathroom and back into the bedroom. Rummaging through his drawers I find a can of deodorant, spraying some of it on myself I put it back into its rightful place. I don't want to go downstairs and look like shit. Actually smell like shit. Looking down at myself, I realize that I'm only wearing his t-shirt, I most of taken off his sweatpants in the middle of the night, the t-shirt coming mid-thigh, I thank myself for having a long t-shirt. Walking over to his wardrobe, I then grab a new grey hoodie and a pair of new sweatpants before I then run a hand through my hair again before I emerge from his bedroom and into the hallway.
It's awfully silent, the only thing playing is the radio along with soft humming. Walking down the stairs, the wood making light footsteps echo through the house. When I manage to find my way to the kitchen, I notice Sam has put a top on and the shorts he was wearing earlier, the smell of pancakes and bacon fills my senses and my stomach rumbles. Sam doesn't seem to have heard it as he continues to cook and hum to the music. And if he did hear, he is pretty good at faking it.
I continue to observe Sam's movements as he silently nods his head to the beat of the music, the sizzling of the bacon and the pancake slowly rising as it is nearly ready to be demolished. Sam slowly turns around with the bacon in the pan and his eyes rise to meet mine, his blue eyes focused on me before looking my body up and down, feeling vulnerable I tug at the t-shirt to make it go lower. He notices my movement and his eyes refocus on the plates, he lets the bacon fall onto our plates before getting the pancakes and doing it to them. Carrying the plates over, I take a seat, he grabs two mugs with coffee in them and maple syrup. My stomach grumbling at the view of the delicious food, Sam looks at me before letting out a low chuckle.
Raising an eyebrow I stare at him. "What's so funny?" I ask him.
He shrugs his shoulders before taking a drink of his coffee. "Nothing, I'm pretty sure you're hungry, dig in there's enough" He jokes before he does in fact dig in.
