Pinesong POV

I trotted forward flicking my big ears, weird, I don't see or hear anybody and my smell... well let's just say I can't really depend on my sense of smell.

Maybe everybody is off somewhere. I lifted my tail hope fluttering through my chest if everybody is gone that makes finding food a hundred times easier.

I looked around it was a nice town with clean white houses and small businesses dotted everywhere. But one house caught my eye it was bigger then all the others with a elegant porch and pillars but what really got my attention were the flowers, they wrapped around the entire house in a beautiful show of color.

I swear I saw every kind of flower there. I couldn't help myself I sniffed at the air and froze I could actually smell it I hadn't been able to smell anything since that day.

I couldn't help it I raced forward wagging my tail I sniffed at the flowers, I Must have raced around that house hundreds of times.

I stood on the porch panting my stomach rumbled I hadn't eaten in 3 days and I was starving. I looked around I felt hope stir in my belly when I saw a open window.

I walked forward till I stood under the open window today was just getting better and better. Bunching my muscles I jumped digging my claws into the window still I pulled myself up slipping through the window I landed hard on the cold wood floor I gathered my legs under me and stood up when I saw the inside of the house my jaw dropped almost hitting the floor.

Maybe it was the fact I hadn't been in a house for a couple years but wow... next to the window I had squeezed in was the door in front of me was a short hallway that lead to a large kitchen if you turned one way there was a large arch lead into a huge living room with a flat screen t.v. and plush couches, a stairway that lead upstairs the upstairs wall opened up to the living room so you could stand upstairs and easily see into the living room.

I turned into the kitchen I sniffed at the air nothing my sense of smell becoming useless once again I sighed before jumping onto the island table in the middle of the kitchen my eyes widened meatloaf I trotted forward biting into the steaming food yum! I purred then I heard someone clear there throat behind me I froze oh damn you meatloaf.
