Third Person POV:

Jacey Faith Cross, a very shy girl with a small circle of friends. She exceeds in academics and sports. She hates too much attention and loves reading. Most of all, she loves her friends who she considers her forever family. Jacey begins her junior year with her three best friends named Jane, Brae, and Jayvian.

Jane Baza and Brae Quinn are Jacey's friends that she highly thinks of as sisters. She loves them dearly and they can tell what mood she is in.

Jayvian Alvarez, the guy who started it all. Jacey and Jayvian became friends on the first day of their sophomore year. They were grouped to get to know each other as an ice breaker. That day started a wonderful friendship.

Jacey's POV:

I wake up to the noise of my alarm. The annoying song blaring through the speakers. It is ladies and gentlemen, a Barney song that I do not know the name of. I know you are wondering, why the hell is it a Barney song? The reason is that it is ANNOYING. I think that is enough of a reason to put it as an alarm.

I get out of bed and walk to my bathroom. I hop into the shower and do all my business. Then, I go pick out my outfit for the day. I slip on a long-sleeve maroon top and shorts along with my converse.

After, I walk down the stairs to be greeted by Jane and Brae. I hug them both and we continue to eat breakfast. I finish up and quickly wash the dishes then proceed to kiss my parents goodbye. The girls and I walk outside and continue to walk towards the school. It took us five minutes to reach the school where we met up with Jayvian.

He greets us with hugs and we head into the school, Southern High. Once we get our schedules, Brae and Jules go off to find their other groups while Jayvian and I go find our group. Our group has five members including him and I. Rico and Amanda are a couple while Jayvian, Trina and I are single. Although, I have had a small crush on Jayvian since I had first met him.

He knows of my feelings but he doesn't act upon them. When I had told him of my feelings during the last school year, he said that he didn't want a relationship. He said that his ex-girlfriend screwed him over many times before we met and ge didn't want to get hurt again.

I was sad then and I am still sad now. Hopefully, this year will change everything.
