Jacey's POV:
As I walk to the cafeteria after my classes, I stop by the bathroom and try to determine if I should add more. I know that I am being stupid right now but I can't stop feeling so replaced and thrown aside. I feel useless. I get up from the closed seat and walk outside. Matt wouldn't want me to do that. I won't do it right now, just for him. Although, I can't make that same promise later. The pain may be too much to deal with soon.

I reach the cafeteria and go sit next to Matt. Then, I see Gracey walking over and notice that Jayvian and the group aren't in the cafe yet. She asks to talk to me privately so we go outside towards the bus depot where nobody is at.

"I want you to stay away from Jayvian and the group. They don't need you anymore. You are nothing to them. I'm his number one girl now."

"Why should I listen to you? They love me and Jayvian is my friend. One of my best friends. He wouldn't throw our friendship away."

"Well that isn't what the group thinks. You are irrelevant to them now."

I turn to walk away until she latches onto my wrist where I had scarred myself a day before. I hiss in pain and try to pull away. As I manage to, I push her away from me as Jayvian and the two groups walk out.

Jayvian immediately rushes towards us and he completely ignores me. After he checks her, he turns to me.

"Why the fuck did you push her Jaycey?"

The hurt look on my face causes Matt and my girls to walk over but I stop them from walking closer.

"I pushed her because she was being irrational. She told me to stay away from you and the group. She told me that none of you loved me and that I shouldn't be around you anymore."

"She is lying Jayvian. I was just talking to her to tell her that I am glad that we were getting along so great and then she lashed out at me."

"That is not true and you know it, Gracey. Stop lying."

"Wait. How would we know if she was lying. For all we know, you could be lying."

I look at Jayvian in shock and disbelief.

"Don't tell me you actually believe her, Jay."

"Well, I do. She is my girlfriend an I'm gonna support her."

"Are you really picking her over me? Your best friend?"

"I guess I am, Jay. I'm sorry but I'm sticking by her."

As I hear those dreadful words fall from his mouth, I look at the rest of my group then, I run. I can't believe he said those things. I can't believe he actually chose her over me. I guess I am not really enough for him.

I run towards the office and go to the one room that has a person who listens to me. As I nock on the door, I here a faint approval of entrance.

"Hello, Mr.Gilinsky."

"Hello, Jacey. How may I help you today? Is it your nightmares again?"

"No. Well, how would you react to a situation in which the person you thought would be by your side forever left you in the dust?"

"I have been there many times and it doesn't get easier. You just gotta learn how to deal with it."

"I love him."

"I loved my ex-fiancé too. But that didn't stop her from running out of the church on our wedding day."

"I just hope I learn soon cause I don't know how much I can take anymore."
