Just another Fallen Angel

Luffy stared up at the sky one last time before his death, and smiled.

The Straw Hats were lined up in a circle, all facing inwards with seven Puppeteer pirates on the outside of the circle, guns ready to shoot them, with Luffy's executioner having a sword instead. Luffy couldn't move because of all the ropes and seastone shackles that were covering his body, and had no choice but to leave. The Marines hadn't given up on taking Reiko's head, and were still piling up on the shores, staring at the executioners, ready to attack once it was over.

'TEN!' Reiko shouted, and the executioners stood at attention as the rest of her crew kept quiet.

'NINE!' They loaded their guns, a clicking sound echoing throughout the silence.

'EIGHT!'

'I don't wanna die...' Usopp sobbed.

'SEVEN!'

'I'm sorry that I couldn't save Alabasta.' Vivi sobbed.

'SIX!'

'This is all my fault, if it weren't for me volunteering to take Kin over to the voiceless reefs, none of this would've happened.' Nami apologised.

'FIVE!'

'None of this is your fault Nami, it's these pirates that are to blame.' Chopper added.

'FOUR!'

'Shoot me first, leave the ladies 'til last.' Sanji said, looking at Nami's and Vivi's faces one last time. He wondered if they'd look beautiful as angels.

'THREE!'

Luffy smiled his toothy grin that hid nothing but innocence as he faced the sky with his eyes closed.

'TWO!'

'Any last words Straw hat?' his executioner asked.

'Yeah. I'm gonna become the pirate king.'

'ONE!'

They all closed their eyes, and Luffy smiled in the face of death.

Death didn't come.

'COME ON, KILL THEM!' Reiko shouted.

No response. They just stood there, guns pointing at their heads while the one with the sword had his sword raised, not moving.

'WHAT'RE YOU WAITING FOR?'

With no warning, red slashes covered the executioners bodies, as if an invisible force had attacked them.

'What the bloody...' Reiko wondered in shock.

A black shape appeared on the platform, with a cyan blaze on their left eye.

"Luffy." (Y/N) smiled as she looked over at Reiko's shocked face.

"Guess who's back."

'(Y/N)!' Luffy and Sanji shouted both at the same time.

'I Like your blaze! Makes you look much cuter!' Sanji flirted with hearts in his eye.

"I appreciate the compliment." (Y/N) said. "But I already have a man in my life now."

Screams of pirates echoed through the island, and Zoro barged through the crowd like a tornado.

"And he's committing a massacre."

'MOSSHEAD?'

"Yep."

'I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!' Reiko screamed.
