Chapter 10

Emily POV

I drove to Kylie's place after my studio session and when I got there I opened the door myself because I know nobody would come to the door cause they are lazy. Very lazy.

I walked inside and heard whispers. I raised my eyebrow in questioning and walked further into the house to see Kylie and Jaden talking. "Hey guys," I say and Kylie glares at me, holding a finger to her lips, "shh!"

I frown and she points behind her. I look past her shoulder and see Kendall on the couch, an empty bottle of Pinnacle on the ground.

I sigh and walk over, "go upstairs, I got her."

They nod and leave me alone with a passed out Kendall. I shake her awake but she still sleeps. I sigh, "Ken wake up."

After a minute or two she wakes up with a gasp and looks up at me who smiles warmly down at her, "fun day I see."

She groans and sits up, "I might have gotten carried away."

This makes me scoff, "you think?"

"Look Em if you're here to lecture me-" "I'm not Ken. Promise. I'm here to check up on you. That's all," I say and sit on the couch, pulling her head onto my lap and play with her hair gently. "Alison still hate me?" She asks after a silent few minutes and I sigh, "she'll come around Ken. You two were like sisters."

"So that's a yes that she still does..."

I just bite my lip slowly and nod, "yeah..."

I look down at her and her eyes meet mine. I realize how hurt she truly is by all of this. She really misses Alison and I don't blame her. They were the ultimate best friends.

"Kendall she'll come around. That's a promise. She knows how much you love her."

"I didn't mean to kiss you she has to understand that. It was sudden. I didn't know what I was doing, I swear."

I nod and she sits up now, staring at me as I try to muster a reply but the door opens, Harry walking in. "Hello," He greets me and I give him a clipped nod, "sup."

Kendall doesn't take her gaze away from me, "what about Cara? Anything with her?"

"Sorry Ken but no. Nothing. Look, I'm gonna head out with Kylie, Jaden, Caleb, Hanna, Aria, Spencer and Alison soon for dinner. You're more than welcome to tag along."

She shakes her head, "no I'm good. Don't want to make anything worse. Who knows. If I order the same meal as you Alison will burn me for witchcraft."

I throw my head back and laugh, then smile at her, "I'll call you?"

"Yeah. Sounds good."

I pull her into me and kiss her forehead, "things will work out Kenz. You'll see. I love you alright?" I say as I stand up and she smiles, "I love you too Em."

I wave, "see ya Harry." I look up the stairs, "Yo! Jaden and Kylie Smith! Let's go," I yell and they run down, "sorry."

I chuckle and we leave and get into my car, driving to where Alison wanted to meet up. When I arrived I greeted all of them and Alison grinned as she walked over, wrapping her arms around my neck, "hi handsome."

I smile, "hi angel." I kiss her and she smiles, shutting her eyes as I kiss her again. 

"Where were you?" She asks and looks at her watch, "you said you'd be here 15 minutes ago."

I shrugged, "I was with Kendall."

Alison stops walking and stares at me like I have 14 heads, "you were with who now?" I chuckle, "Kendall, babe. She's still my friend you know." Ali rolls her eyes and drags me indoor to our seats, "can I ask what you were doing visiting her?" I scoff, "I was making sure she was okay...she misses you Alison. A lot."
