IMAGINE: You're at a bar waiting there for your blind date that your friend has set you up on. She tells you that he's a great guy. "Than why don't you go out with him instead of setting him up with me?" you ask. "He's not my type beside I know you'll like him now just wear this Sapphire ring so he'll recognize you" giving it to you. You try it on but it doesn't fit. "Nell you knuckle head it doesn't fit on my fingers" you call out.
"All right than wear it as a necklace". At the bar you look at your watch and the guy was suppose to be there at nine and it's ten. I've been stood up you muttered As you're leaving the bar you get knocked down by someone. "I'm so sorry let me help you up". You look up and see a man that's making your heart flutter. "Thank you" dusting yourself off. He looks at you strangely for some reason. "Why are you starring at me?" you ask. He shakes his head and apologizes.
"I just can't help looking at your ring on your necklace it's my birthstone" he replied giggling nervously. "I'm just wearing it because I was suppose to be on a blind date and this necklace was his way of knowing I was his date but he never showed up" you explained blushing a little. "Yea know the feeling my sister in law set me up and I hate being set up how about you and I go out somewhere". "What about your blind date?". "I'll let her think I stood her up and get the riot act from my sister in law later".
You leave with him and had the most fun with him ever. He shows you his collection of cars and motorcycles he even takes you out on one of them. Before you know it the sun is coming up so he drops you off at your apartment. "Thanks this was fun" you say. "I had fun too may I have your number and we could set something up". You go into your purse, take out a piece of paper and pen.
You use his back for leverage as you write your number. "Here you go and I hope to hear from you". "Believe me you will call you later" and he drives off. When you walk in your friend is sitting in the kitchen. "Must of been a great date if you're coming in at dawn". "To tell you honestly your date never showed that guy I met as I was leaving". After you finish telling your roommate about your date she tells that was the guy you were meeting up with.
"Seriously?". "He called to tell me that he was running late but I guess you didn't have your phone with you". "If he was the guy who did you talk to about setting me and him up?". "His sister-in-law we work at the same hospital" she replies. "But I have a surprise for you. The guy you set me up with is that magician you have the hots for".
Your roommate stand up and stares right into your eyes. "YOU WENT OUT WITH CRISS ANGEL!!". You nodded and go into your room as your roommate falls back into her chair wishing she went out on the date instead of you
