I know its a bit early
to write a letter as you can see
something I've never done
I was eager to try
Even if it's as simple as
writing a letter from me to you
with each word I write
I feel as though I'm just an ordinary girl
writing to a friend she can no longer see.I know its pretty late
to out of the blue say hello.
Turns out I'm not as good as a writer as I aspired to be..
Words escape and remain torn apart in whirlwinds
of forgotten grayed petals.
Reminants of an once happy cherry blossom tree.
Pigmented flowers turn to dust..
Petals turn to gray..
Cherry blossom trees forgotten by time
eventually rot and smolder
becomes a ghost of the past.
When the tree was vibrant with life
When I met others including you
I knew I'd never be able to forget you guys.
Cherry blossom trees a skeleton under the sun
We shall remember its beauty
We shall remember as days appear to disappear will remain a memoryThank you for being there to tend the leaves
I say thanks to the moment I met you guys.
For being a friend and never leaving.
I hope to be there for you as you've been there for me.I knew this friendship would eventually fade
but that's okay.
I hope this meant as much to me as it did to you.
I know it's silly of me to write a letter..
To be frank,
I thought I never would.I know we'll eventually forget of eachother.
I know
and it's okay.
I'll keep on writing
but please don't forget
to remember about me.***********************************

HEY it's me Toxic Rebel (yes I know it sounds weird..but then I'm weird too so it goes well hand in hand) just going to say a bit about this poem..This poem was written originally meant to be in a future letter I was going to send to one of my closest friends but then I couldn't wait and was just like..'Hey I wrote this for you. Please read it'. I am impatient and that shows in my writing sometimes. That's another topic!
About this poem!
Well, this poem of 'Letters' is pretty sad and pessimistic and is supposed to be this series of letters sent to a friend they can no longer see since it's like they moved although it was just going to different schools and after time they eventually are slowly forgetting of each other. Kind of like the death of a friend ship.
Although it never felt that way.
Just an unspoken goodbye.
..
THANKS, if you stayed to read this whole thing to the end and even this crummy author's note.
Thanks for reading! Appreciate it!
