Daylight burns painfully bright.
During the day,
Sun swims in blue
still waves.
White foam forms in a mix
of light blue lies.
..
When the day begins to fade..
As rainbows turn to gray,
nighttime comes.
..
As Night sits at the dinner table..
I sit, gazing into Night's plate.
I notice there's nothing.
Nighttime hasn't been
eating again.Lost in seas of constellations,
you gazed into the dark sky.Watch the stars drown
gasping for air,
refusing to die unknown,
without purpose..You turned to face the other way.
Ignoring their quiet screams.
..
Clouds couldn't bare
the deaths of these stars.
As their bodies lay millions
possibly even trillions
of miles away from each other.Death's unknown,
hidden in the dark sea..
Stars, no matter how bright
die in the time of night. Not forgotten
but not remembered.Nothing left to show its existence
Nothing left for evidence.
..
Gray clouds overlap
black rooftops covering
deceased skies.Acidic tear drops descend
from the sky's gray blanket.
As we hear the earth crackle,
sizzle underneath our tattered,
tainted soaked shoes. My shoes were tattered blue,
yours were tainted white.******************************
