Star had a classification of days of the week, (even if she had no idea why they were called like that, and lets admit, you don't know either) Saturdays we're the best, and was completely opposite to Monday, Nonetheless, Monday was usually the most boring and yawn-worthy, boring lessons, no monster fighting after school, and a butt load of a students worst nightmare,
Homework...
Luckily this Monday was different.
The School Dance was tonight, and everybody was excited, pumped, and especially nervous.
But nobody was more excited, pumped, or insanely nervous as one particular student in Echo Creek High, not Star, Not Marco, surprisingly neither Ferguson nor Alfonso, but a student who they probably had no idea existed, Matthew Damien Jr. .
Though Neither Star nor Marco knew him, I mean, he was just almost like every other student, emphasis on 'almost'.
Nonetheless, he had something special, you see he lived in the kingdom of Mewni, he was not royalty but just a simpleton, his Mother was a very loving person, his Father had died after he joined the Royal Guard, Matthew's Mother had loved Matthew very dearly, they would play together, sleep together, basically do everything together, yet one morning when The boy was 6, she never woke up, Matthew, who was heartbroken after the loss of his mother, ran away.
Foraging through the street, he found a something shiny, a pair of scissors with a gem attached to center, he remembered his Mother teaching him about dimensional travel, so he tried cutting a portion of reality, and a portal opened, before he went through, he grabbed the keep sake that, like Star's Wand, ran through the family, The Greater Staff, the one thing that reminded him of his Father before he left to fight in the Royal Guard.
The staff did not appear very menacingly, it was a metallic rod with a Small Crystal Shaped Sapphire attached to one end of the rod.
He hesitated at first, but then told himself that if he stayed, the pain in his heart would stay there forever, he went through the portal, Matthew looked around, it was a dark stormy night, rain was pouring on his face, the wind was howling, and the Street of Echo Creek was ever so silent, the only few things you could hear was thunder, wind, and droplets of rain.
The next day, a old lady found him sleeping in the bushes, Matthew woke up and saw her, she decided to adopt Matthew, She was almost just as kind as his mother, they became best of friends, Her name was Elizabeth Damien, she gave Matthew education, food, shelter, and motherly love.
His usual outfit was a light blue jacket, blue grey pants, a pair of sneakers and
He had no idea about the magical forces that wreaked havoc on the school, he was either absent when they happened, or asleep in class when they happened.
But enough about that.
Today was stressful for the boy, the school dance was coming, and he had lost his date, Hailey, after getting chicken pox.
He could just stay at home all day and not need to go to the dance at all, but if he didn't, he would risk something very precious.
The big reason of why he needed to go to the school dance was...
*FLASHBACK*FLASHBACK*
*FLASHBACK*FLASHBACK*Matthew was doing his normal business, until his friend Kyle came and said, " Hey Matt! Matt! I gotta tell you something, but first, What're you doing?".
"Not much, what did you want to tell me?" Matt replied,
"The school ball is in two days and..." he looked blankly at the shiny gem sticking out of Matt's backpack, "Woah! You have some neat crystal! Can I touch it?" Asked Kyle, Matt quickly took notice and his it away, "No! No,no,no,no, You have no idea what will happen if it gets into the wrong hands..." "Can you at least show it to me?" Matt hesitated at first but agreed as he was just going to look at it.
