The End.

Marco turned back to his daughter Gina, who was listening the whole time.

"You like it?" He asks, smiling brightly.

"You guys were so cute!" She replies.

"Whatever happened to the wands?" Gina asks, Marco smirked, stood up.

He went to a nearby chest, on the top of the chest and picked up a note.

Happy 14th Birthday Gina

~ Mom, Dad, Uncle Matt, And Mewni.

"

Well, The first original wand is now in possession of your uncle Matt. The other ones. . ." He faced the chest again. "That's for another time. . ."

Gina looked out the window and saw the twinkling stars, signifying that nighttime had arrived not early.

Marco sent her to bed. After Gina was fast asleep, he remembered why Star needed to go downstairs.

"Star?" He whispers inside their room.

For the first time in nearly 24 years, there was nothing. . .

He felt like he had lost her all over again. Kitchen, Basement, Bathroom, nothing. . .

Then he heard rustling by the roof.

Of course, Star would always stargaze occasionally.

He climbed to the roof, and saw the girl, the princess from another dimension, his wife. Lying there on the roof, staring blankly at the sea of darkness, with the beautiful, twinkling lights.

"Isn't it beautiful honey?" She asks, anticipating his arival.

"Who, You?" He replied with a smirk. She laughs, it gave him butterflies in his stomach all the time.

"You never fail to look like a dork Marco."

He lies next to her.

Then he sees what really was beautiful.

The Blood Moon, he hasn't seen that moon in forever. The same moon that bonded their souls forever.

"Wow... Its amazing." Marco replies in awe.

Followed by a long silence.

"Hey, Star?" Marco asks, turning to the side and looking at her.

"Yeah?" She replies, also turning to her side.

"Who was downstairs this morning?"

"Well, it was Matt."

"Matt?! Why didn't you tell me?!" He shouts.

"He wanted to talk about Gina, when she turns 14. . ."

. . .

"You OK with this?"

"Absolutely." He answers. And returns his gaze towards the stars.

But the only star he needed, was right beside him. . .

And the Blood Moon shined the red and beautiful light upon the ever so silent town of Echo Creek. . .

Just like it did all those years ago. . .

And to think.

Their beautiful story. . .

All told, in one special morning.

Goodnight.
