Chapter eighteen: Micheala's true form

Josh had woken up from the coma. Raven and Josh had their third kid. Daniel was missing and had not been seen since Raven attacked him. Eve had stopped looking for him. "How is Kattie doing?" Eve inquired, her gaze drawn to her sleepy companion.

"She is doing well, but she hasn't been sleeping well at night, and Jake hasn't slept that much," Raven said, closing her eyes and looking down. 

"Raven, I am going to take Adien, Lilith, and Kattie tonight so you can get some rest, "Eve said, going upstairs to tell Lilith and Adien to pack for the night. 

Meanwhile, at Michaela's house, "Damn, I can't find Daniel anywhere. Why is that asshole called my dad? "Micheala yelled, throwing papers every which way? Midna Micheala's wolf growled as the image popped into her head. Micheala has hated Daniel since she was twelve. When his mom died, Daniel went insane because he had lost his mate.

Daniel would rape, cut, kick, punch; you name it, he did it. When Micheala left, she was considered a rogue. Her dad forgot about her completely, not caring what happened to her.

Back at Eve's house, "I am so tired those kids wore me out," Eve said, complaining to Josh and while crawling in the bed. 

"Hey, you're the one that wanted to take them for the night," Josh said, putting his arm around Eve's waist and putting his head in the crook of her neck. The heat from his head in the crook of her neck. The heat from his breathing made Eve shiver. Soon enough, Eve went into a deep, peaceful sleep.

At Raven's house, it was late at night. Jake was peacefully sleeping but not Raven. When Raven was about to fall asleep, she was woken up by a sound. 

Raven got up and ran into the kitchen where the sound was. When she did, Daniel was in her sight. "Long time no see, Raven, I see those brats of yours are not here," Daniel said, smirking.

"What do you want, Daniel?" Raven snarled as she stared at him, not wanting to talk to him. 

"Aw, is that any way to talk to your real father," Daniel said, shocking Raven. Suddenly, Daniel grabbed Raven by the neck, choking her.

Raven was going unconscious from not being able to breathe. Raven kicking the wall jolted Jake out of his slumber. Jake ran at the sound of Raven. He soon got to Raven and was about to grab her but was stopped by Daniel. Jake was thrown at the wall and knocked out.

Raven cried but couldn't scream due to Daniel holding her neck. Suddenly, Micheala burst through the door in her wolf form.
