Chapter four: Willow returns

It had been a week since the accident. Raven was still recovering, and Jake was with her every second of the day. Luckily, it was summer, so they didn't need to repeat the grade. When Jake was asleep, Raven woke up and grabbed his hand. "Raven, you're awake; I'm so happy; rest now, okay," Jake said as he hugged Raven.

"Ahh fuck that hurts," Raven yelled, looking at Jake

"S-S-Sorry, I am just happy you are OK. You were out for a week. You broke some ribs, a leg, a wrist, "Jake said, looking at Raven.

Raven couldn't help but smile at Jake because he stayed with her the whole time she was out. "Jake, you are amazing, but you didn't have to stay by my side."

Jake shook his head and looked at Raven. "Yes, I did, you are mine, and you will always be mine," Jake said, hugging Raven.

Raven smiled at Jake after hearing what he had to say to her. She has never felt this way towards someone before. She would smile every time she saw him. "Why are you smiling at me like that? Do you have something on your face? " Jake asked, wiping his brow.

"No, I love you and can't help but stare at you," Raven said, smiling, then fell on the floor.

Raven coughed up blood. When Jake saw it, he rushed to a doctor. The doctor ran in and picked her up, then took her for an x-ray. Ten minutes later, they got back with results. "Well, it was nothing. She is fine. Her body is still recovering, so she may cough up some blood here and there," the doctor said, looking at Jake. Raven had fallen asleep from the medicine the doctor gave her.

A month later, Raven was out of the hospital. Raven had now moved in with Jake. Later that night, Raven went downstairs because she heard a noise coming from the kitchen. Raven looked around the room but didn't see anything. "You better stop dating that hunter over there; otherwise, he will be hurt just like his parents were," the voice told Raven.

"Mom, is that you? Why did you kill those people? Was she that important to you? Mom, was I just a piece of shit to you? " Raven asked, starting to cry.

There was no response from Willow. Raven got hit with a spell by Willow, and it made her cough blood. Raven fell to the floor. "I'm not your mom anymore. I killed her the day Sara died," Willow whispered.

Willow left Raven on the floor to die. Jake woke up to the sound of Raven falling on the floor. Jake ran downstairs and grabbed the phone, then called nine-one-one. Jake stayed by her side. The paramedics came in and looked at Raven. "She is bleeding on her shoulder and her side."

They put Raven in the ambulance and got an I.V on her. She woke up in the ambulance. "Jake, everything is hurting," Raven said, looking at Jake.

"Shh rests; everything will be fine," Jake said as he fiddled with her hair.
