This such a nice picture of the Weasley clan- AN
Durmstrang arrived in a very large boat but unlike us they decided not to live inside of Hogwarts which was interesting. Once they were all seated, at the Slytherin table of course, just looking at them they all looked like they had the potential of being dark witches and wizards without any problem.
"Students faculty ghosts and of course honored guest. The Triwizard Tournament is about to officially start. I would like to say a few words of explanation before I bring the casket out, just to clarify the procedure which we will be following this year. But firstly, let me introduce, for those of you who don't know them, Mr. Bartemius Crouch, head of the department of International Magical Cooperation." Dumbledore paused for us to stop clapping and continued. "And Mr. Ludo Bagman, head of the department of Magical Games and Sports." everyone clapped a lot louder for Ludo tan Crouch. "Mr. Bagman and Mr. Crouch have worked tirelessly over the last few months on the arrangements for the Triwizard Tournament and they will be joining myself, Professor Karkaroff and Madame Maxime on the panel that will judge the champions' efforts." Dumbledore paused, then looked around, now looking excited. "The casket please, Mr. Filch."
Filch came staggering over to Dumbledore from the corner of the room he had previously been lurking in, carrying a huge wooden casket covered in patterns and carvings.
"The instructions for the tasks the champions will face this year have already been examined by Mr. Crouch and Mr. Bagman and they gave made the necessary arrangements for each challenge. There will be three tasks throughout the school year, and they will test the champions in many different ways, their magical prowess, their daring, their powers of deduction and of course their ability to cope with danger." Dumbledore finished as the casket was placed in front of him. Everyone in the room seemed to be waiting for Dumbledore's next words with bated breath, "As you know, 2 champions will compete from each school in the tournament. The witch or wizard with the highest total amount of points will be the winner of the TriWizard Cup. The champions will be chosen by the Goblet of Fire." Dumbledore pointed this wand at the casket and tapped it as the casket slowly melted away revealing the most beautiful giant golden goblet a small amount of blue flames danced in the goblet before erupting into a larger flame. I watch amazed with a smile on my face as Fleur muttered how amazing it was in French. "Aspiring champions have until tomorrow to write their name and school on a piece of parchment and drop it into the goblet. The champions will be called tomorrow night after the feast. The goblet will than return the names of the six champions most worthy to compete. And to ensure no underage wizard or witch plan on entering, I personally will be drawing an age line around the goblet once it has been placed in front of the great hall." He paused slightly "Finally, I wish to impress upon those of you who are planning on entering the tournament is not to be entered lightly. Once you are chosen to be a champion there is no way out until the end. You cannot change this. Please consider what you're getting yourself into before you drop your name into the goblet. Now i think it's time for bed. All of you, good night." With that we were all dismissed. I watched as so many yawned before heading to their room but we of Beauxbaton were to meet with Ma'dam Maxime before heading to bed.
Ma'dam had us all meet in the great hall early in the morning before breakfast to line up so that we could all put our names in goblet one by one our names were placed into the blue flame which turned red after we dropped our names into it and entering the dining hall, looking around I didn't see Cedric or Will and ended up sitting with Cho who was on her own.
"Morning cho." I greeted her sitting down with Fleur.
"Morning" she chimed back looking up from her school work. The day dottled on slowly seeing as there wasn't much to do. Since madam had us all enter the tournament Fleur and I practiced some dueling techniques not really know what we might end up doing. Ma'dam saw us praising us for our dedication and had us help take care of our steads. Finally the sun was setting and we headed up back up to the castle the gamekeeper Hagrid joining us
