I rubbed my eyes before heading to the bathroom to have a shower.

An hour had gone by and I was sat on the kitchen counter looking out the window at the back garden.
"Boo." Liam smiled trying to scare me but failing miserably.
I smiled a weak smile at Liam.
"You want to hang out?" Liam asked.
"I really want a chill day." I moaned.
"We can play some board games and watch some telly?" Liam asked.
"Ok sure." I replied while rolling my eyes.
Liam went to fetch Monopoly and we played that for a long time.

Liam's POV
I wanted to spend time with Karly, I didn't want her to be left alone thinking about the past, I actually liked Karly, I hadn't known her long but she was different and I liked that. I feel down myself lately so spending time with Karly keeps my mind off things as well.
It really did get me down that Karly tried to kill herself, I didn't want her to ever feel that low again.
We were now playing Monopoly and I had just won the game.
"Ha, told you boys are the best." I bragged.
"Oh whatever, I wasn't even bothered about playing it anyway." Karly said while rolling her eyes.
"Sore loser." I joked.
"Yes whatever." Karly said while looking me straight in the eye, I couldn't help myself I leaned over the board and pulled Karly towards me, I looked into her eyes one last time before letting my lips touch hers, Karly pulled back a little but I gently moved my head closer and let my tongue slip in to her mouth, Karly kissed me back letting her tongue wonder around my mouth. Karly finally pulled back and just looked at the floor.
Karly's POV
I was so shocked, I had just kissed Liam but for some weird reason it didn't feel right, it didn't feel anything like kissing Damien. I couldn't look Liam in the face I looked down at the floor and gently bit my lip because I didn't know what to do or say. I needed to make an excuse to escape.
"I need to do my homework." I said before quickly getting up and walking to my room, before I walked up the stairs I took a quick glance at Liam to see he was covering his head.
I let out a small sigh and headed up to my room.
I sat on my bed and held my head; I was struggling to register what just happened.
I wanted to go and speak to Liam but I couldn't, I didn't know what to say.
I pulled some homework out my bag and made a start on it. I let my mind drift into a world of its own.
"Hey, I wanted to bring something to cheer you up." A voice said bringing me back out of my thoughts.
I looked at the person who just sat on my bed; I smiled a little when I noticed my favourite doughnuts and a strawberry milkshake.
"Thanks Damien." I smiled again before hugging him.
"It's ok, how do you feel now?"
"I feel ok, just needed a chill day." I replied.
"Yes, I get bored chilling on a Sunday." Damien moaned.
I rolled my eyes and Damien lay on the bed next to me, I rolled over and looked into his beautiful blue eyes, but every time I looked at Damien I just wanted to kiss him.
"I am thinking about joining the army." Damien blurted out.
"No you are not, why do you keep saying this?" I asked annoyed.
"I am thinking about joining the army." Damien repeated.
"No you are not." I snapped a little annoyed.
"Why not?" Damien asked raising an eyebrow.
"Because I don't want you to die as well." I said and I could see disappointment in Damien's eyes.
"I won't die." Damien replied.
"You can't go, I need you."
Damien looked at me before replying.
"You have Lucy."
"Yes but I don't have these kind of feelings towards Lucy, I think I am slowly falling for you Damien, I just need time to think things through." I blurted out.
Damien didn't reply for a while.
"I love you Karly, I was only winding you up." Damien laughed a little.
"Not funny." I said while punching Damien in the chest.
Damien stopped for a few hours and we had a laugh and a joke, it felt nice.

It was 7.30 and I had avoided Liam all day but I really didn't want there to be an atmosphere between us so I walked downstairs and into the kitchen where Liam was.
I stood there silent for a while because I wasn't sure what to say.
"Karly, I am so sorry, I am not that type of boy I promise." Liam said.
"It's fine." I replied.
Liam turned to look at me, I looked into his beautiful brown eyes and I could tell he was really sorry.
"Liam, I forgive you." I laughed now to try and break the ice.
"Ok I am sorry though." Liam smiled weakly.
I hugged him and then walked into the living room.
I sighed and rubbed my head, I thought I was falling for Damien but now I had some sort of soft spot for Liam, I don't know if its because he opened up to me or because we have both felt the pain of losing someone we loved.
Liam's POV
My head was a mess at the minute, my girlfriend and I were still on a break, she wanted me to move in with her so we could be a proper family but I didn't want that until I knew the baby was really mine.
She had text me a few nights ago to say she had sent the swabs off for the DNA, so now we were just waiting on results.
Karly was a distraction till then but lately I was actually starting to like her a lot more since she opened up to me.
