Waking up from the room she stayed in, Seriina got up and grabbed her duel disk and locked it behind her. She set on her boots and walked out of the room and outside, Seriina blinked and set on her glove with a grin plastered on her face.

"It's time to do some investigation!"

Seriina grabbed a clip from her back pocket and grabbed her brown locks with some difficulty and clipped it in a bird's tail and quickly headed off with Masha leading the way.

Seriina jumped in the trees finding Jim doing something, she blinked jumping out of the trees doing a quick back-flip and landed right beside him walking backwards.

"Are you doing something important, nii-san?"

"Oh, there you are Vanille, I was wondering where ya went." Jim grinned her way.

"Of course, Croc, I'm not hard to miss." A grin painted across the young girls lips. "So what are you doin'?"

"Checking for seismic waves is all. Something's fishy 'bout this place and I wanna know why."

"You too, eh?" She began talking and stopped walking. "Nii-san... I don't trust the Cobra dude..."

"I don't either; I don't like what he issued to us something about them is freakin' me out..."

"Well, don't get me wrong but-"

Before she could finish, Shirley got away from them and they were chasing her calling her name to get her attention.

Masha quickly went ahead and Seriina shouted in annoyance and sighed.

"Ahh, I'VE BEEN HIT!" shouted Kenzan loudly trying to get the familiar croc off of his butt. "Gwah, THIS FURBALL IS IN MY FACE!"

"Masha, get off of his face!" A voice demanded to the furball, and Masha quickly got off and started floating around quickly.

"I know that furball..." Judai murmured under his breath as she jumped out of the bushes and grabbed Masha's tail with a stern look.

"I told ya not to fly from my site, Masha. Ya always seem to find trouble when ya do..." The young girl told him with a heavy sigh.

"Down girl, HEEL! What's gotten into you, Shirley?" Jim told her scratching her chin lightly as she purred into his touch.

"I'll tell ya what's gotten into her, my rear end!" Kenzan yelled at Jim while rubbing his butt.

Seriina sighed and put a hand to her head. "Sorry to tell ya, but we're not responsible for Shirley's behavior." She told him while patting Shirley's head gently.

"But, then who is responsible, Seriina?" asked Judai.

"Not who's responsible, more like what's responsible. It may sound strange, but something in the air has triggered her primitive instincts." Jim informed the boys.

"Oh..." Judai said in thought.

"You understood all that?" Johan asked him questionably.

"Not at all..."

Jim and Seriina both sweat-dropped, Jim pulled out a device for them to see and began explaining to them. "This...might clear things up for ya. It measures vibrations in the atmosphere. Normally, there's a balance between positive and negative energy. But that's not the case here."

Seriina sighed as they began talking, and Masha landed on her shoulder gently as she heard Judai say to them. "Yeah, but how are we gonna find our way around?"
