Hello fellow humans! Thanks for stopping by!
This is my first ever published book and I'm super excited to share it with you! I have been writing stories for the past 4 years but have never come across a plot and character list that inspired me as much as this one. I finally took the plunge and published it!
I will be posting new chapters on a weekly basis.
Hope you enjoy <3

Jamie loved to sleep just as much as the next girl. In fact, after a hard week of work and school, her bed was probably the most inviting place to her at the moment. But instead of snuggling under the covers, Jamie sat on the bumpy couch by the tv waiting anxiously for Logan to come home. It was way past midnight and her imagination went wild on all sorts of things Logan was probably doing at such a late hour.
Jamie's eyelids felt heavy, but she refused to tear her gaze from the door. The sound of footsteps came from the hallway and Jamie's heart sped up, but it was only a couple of stumbling girls, drunk from whatever frat party they came from. Jamie rubbed her eyes and sighed. All she wanted was for Logan to come home so that she could go to bed peacefully.
Then Jamie heard keys jingling and the door flew open revealing Logan, his hair a disheveled mess. Jamie stood up and her heart sank after further examining Logan's current appearance. He didn't even bother putting on his jacket to hide the marks on the sides of his neck. She shook her head and pushed the ugly images forming in her brain of Logan with another girl. Logan was home and that's all that mattered.
"Sorry I was out so late." He said. "Tom and I lost track of time."
He looked at her with those big, blue eyes of his and they both knew it was a lie. But it was something they both tricked themselves into believing was true every night.
"It's okay," Jamie whispered and reached out to hug him.
He pulled her into his chest as she tried to ignore the smell of perfume that still lingered on his shirt.
"You stayed up for me?" He asked touching her cheek with his hand. She leaned into his touch and hummed.
"I couldn't go to bed without kissing you goodnight."
"That's why I love you."
Jamie's heart soared as she brought her arms around Logan's neck. His fingers grazed her bottom lip as his head tilted toward her for a kiss. Every time he kissed her, all Jamie's worrying thoughts flew out the window. The tenderness of his kisses and the delicate way he held her always proved to Jamie that Logan truly did love her despite his flaws.
Logan's kisses became more aggressive and Jamie gasped as his fingers gripped her hips and lifted her legs around his waist. He walked them to the couch, Jamie straddling him where he sat. Breaking free from his lips for a second, Jamie lowered her head to his neck. She licked and sucked ignoring the red patches coloring his skin.
Too soon, Logan pulled her away and Jamie whimpered at the loss of connection.
"I'm wiped out, Jamie." He said. "I don't think I can do this tonight."
"Oh." A twinge of rejection pulled at her heartstrings and Jamie fought the urge to cry.
Logan pulled a loose strand of hair behind her ear and lifted her chin towards him.
"I've got a free schedule tomorrow. We can spend the entire day together."
Jamie's eyes were as big as saucers. Her mouth split into a grin and she gratefully kissed the side of his cheek.
