Logan's phone had been beeping nonstop since they began their ride home. Jamie didn't have to look at his screen to know it was Tom. The entire day Jamie had been on cloud nine and she hoped it would have a perfect ending going home with no worries on her mind. But whenever Tom texts Logan, Logan leaves, and when Logan leaves there's no telling what he'll do.

"You're phone," Jamie said pointing to the multitude of texts and missed calls.

"It's Tom," Logan confirmed. "He wants me to meet him at Sharkees."

Jamie closed her eyes and sighed, her fears once again coming true. Sharkees was a local bar close to their apartment where Tom and Logan usually hung out. Jamie also knew that it was a good place to pick up girls.

"If you want to go you can." Jamie forced herself to say. Obviously, she didn't want him to, but she also didn't want to seem desperate and clingy in front of him either.

Logan raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure?"

Jamie nodded. "I had the best day ever with you. You can go spend some time with your friend."

"You're the best!" Logan kissed the side of her cheek. She turned her head to the side so he couldn't see her watery eyes.

A few minutes later Logan dropped her off at their apartment as he sped away to the bar. Holding her arms around her body, Jamie walked up the stairs feeling as lonely as she looked. She sniffled as she entered the apartment slumping onto the couch with a whimper. Her lower body ached as a reminder of Logan's and her actions. He was the perfect gentleman all day long taking care of her with the utmost affection, emotionally and physically. Though doing it in the back of the car wasn't very classy, she knew they were making love. All those other girls were just a quick fuck. She had never known him to be with another girl the same night that they too had sex. She had always thought he would run to other girls when he was trying to blow off steam or relieve stress. Hadn't she'd been enough today? Hadn't she satisfied his needs?

She cursed herself for willingly allowing him to leave her tonight. She didn't know if she could deal with another restless night worrying about him. She wanted today to be just about them, but now he was probably at that stinky bar talking up some blonde.

Tonight she didn't feel like sharing. Tonight she was going to take back what was hers. She learned long ago to accept his behavior believing that a life with him was far better than a life without him. She knew there was a lot of issues with their relationship, but she always found a way to justify them. Maybe with a little effort, she could fix some of those blemishes. Rising from the sofa, she decided right then and there that she was going to march down to that bar, take Logan home, and show him exactly why he doesn't need any other woman in his life. She was gonna rock his world.

Even though it was freezing outside, the walk to the bar wasn't too far. She could make it as long as she bundled up well enough. After arming herself with a few layers which included a giant puffy jacket, a big pair of boots, and a warm scarf, she headed out the door determined to win her man back.

Bursting through the door of the bar, Jamie turned a few heads as she let out a great sigh of relief as her whole body began to defrost from the cold. She took off her gloves and ran over to the fireplace warming up her frozen hands. As she placed her palms out toward the fire, she looked around the bar desperately trying to locate Logan. Instead, she found Tom alone sporting his usual flannel jacket and trucker hat. Their eyes met and Tom raised his glass in greeting. Jamie waved to him and made her way over to where he was seated.

"What brings you here?" Tom asked with a smile. He then flagged down the bartender ordering her something to drink. He gestured to the seat next to him and Jamie sat down.
