Song: Infected Mushrooms - Now is gold

"Okay! This is kind of a test, but you can't really fail. We know you're all skilled fighters we just need to see what you can do!" Ian grinned easily, flashing his crazy eyes from behind his glasses before stepping back to watch us train with the rest of the group.

Alex headed straight to the dummies and started attack them without a weapon, confusing me when shred marks appeared where she punched. Jade and Lauren battled against each other on the far side of the room, Jade using her obsidian sword and Lauren with her personal dagger. Hope was setting and launching TNT with quick succession as they blew up a thick wall in the TNT area. Finn was throwing knives at moving dummies, hitting each one in the head. She looked up and caught me staring at her, she cocked her head sideways as if to ask 'what?' I simply held up both my hands and flexed the fingers like a sorcerer would to summon fire, she sighed noticeably and slowly her eyes turned black. She started to throw orbs of magic at the dummies before finally swinging her arms out wide making all the training dummies fly off their hinges and into a wall.

The whole room quietened at the sound and turned to the noise, where Finn stood with a light veil of black surrounding her right hand.

"THAT WAS AWESOME!" Meadow yelled, breaking the silence and jumping up, fist pumping the air. "You're a sorcerer?"

"Yeah, most people think I'm crazy. Black eyes and all." Finn smiled slightly to which Seto frowned at.

"Well I'm here too so we've got something in common." He smiled. He walked to Finn and they both started training together, something told me that they were going to have a strong sister/brother relationship.

I noticed Twilia standing alone not paying attention to the skilled sorcery as her lips moved silently like she was mouthing something to someone but she was looking at the ground, I jumped slightly at the sound of an explosion that was set by Hope but recovered and turn back to Twilia, she looked different.

She noticed me looking at her and jerked her head signalling me to come over to her.

"Want to train?" She giggled slightly before composing herself. I nodded once and pulled a wooden training knife from a nearby weapons rack. Twilia chose her own weapon, which was a wooden training sword, we both took positions on either side of the soft flooring used for training and nodded at each other, Twilia's twisted grin seemed cocky, her eyes concealed by her glasses.

I settled into a relaxed attack stance and prepared to go easy on the seemingly timid girl, I didn't expect her to launch herself at me with a feral shriek and swing her sword at my head. I quickly rolled out of the way and righted myself again, holding my knife in front me as I watched her next move. She lunged for me again and this time I ducked just in time and grabbed her by her waist, giving her a 'boost' which made her overshoot her target and land a few metres away in a messy roll.

This time I attacked, I ran to Twilia and jumped when she swung low with her sword, swiping the weapon away with my small knife but still catching my ankle when she swung it again, I block her lunges and swipes and parry her blows and sneak in a few quick attacks of my own which she always blocked. We fought on, a dance that would have been lethal if we had real weapons or we were fighting to kill.

But it seems both of us decided to end it.

Twilia jumped impossibly high for it to be natural for a human and corkscrewed in mid-air, lashing out her foot and catching me in the jaw. My head snapped back causing me to stumble backwards and let out a yell of shock, I regained my balance and bent my knees before jumping and roundhouse kicking her in the ribs, causing her to shorten her fall and land on her side, I bring my knife down but shes rolls away to which I follow her. I stood, and in that time I get behind her and hold her with my wooden knife at her throat, she lets out a laugh when I do, I look down to see her sword hovering over my side. I started to laugh too, it was kind of strange to me though, I never laughed with people aside from Tanner but it felt normal in a way too. I stopped abruptly when I realised everyone in the training room was watching us fight, and laugh.
