The Truth About Jo

chapter 11

Hey guys this will probably be pretty short cause I'm typing it on my blackberry. But I hope you like it. I'm trying my best to be a good writer and know that I probably suck at it. Anyways, this chapter is dedicated to Nolana. She's the one person I can count on to read my book and give me feedback on it whether it be good or bad. She made me an awesome cover but I can't seem to get it up since everything is done by my phone.

Chapter 11

Being on the run wasn't as exciting as Jo thought it would be. By the time they reached the outskirts of town, she was exhausted. The only reason she kept going is because ;ason nning behind her nipping at her heels to make her go faster.

"Keep going. You gotta keep going" he kept repeating at her. Finally, when the got to the foothills of the mountains, she could take no more and colapsed. As jason went to find a cave for them to sleep in she used the last bit of energy she had to give Hope a tongue bath.

"Ewww, mommy that's gross. StooOop." She whined but Jo made sure to get all the dirt off of her no matter how much she whined. Jason came to get the and took them to the cave they would be staying in. Wasn't the best but it was shelter.

"I hope you were a boy scout because we're gonna need a fire." Jo said. She was right. It was cold and starting to rain. Jason went out and got some firewood before everything got too wet. Jo decided she wanted some answers when he got back.

"So why did you want to come with us so bad?" She asked the moment he came through the entrance.

"Because I'm your mate." When he noticed the confused look on her face, he continued. "Me bering your mate means we belong together. We can take it as slow as you want but you will never find someone. Who loves you. Mean, I even took good care of your daughter when you disappeared. Couldn't ask for someone better. In my opinion." He said with an arrogant smirk on his face.

"Wait, you mean I HAVE to love you. I get no choice in this. There's no such thing as love at first sight. This is total bullshit. I want to pick who I love. If you want that love, your gonna have to prove it and believe me when I say I'm not an easy girl to win. I'm not just gonna drop my pants just because you flash a good smile." And with that she went and curled up next to :ope leaving Jason with a dumbfounded look on his face.
