It had been a couple of months and Jason had taught Jo everything he knew about being two natured, from shifting to fighting. Hope had started acting more wolf like, which jason said was odd because kids shouldnt act like that until closer to shifting. They figure she was special and would shift early. Jason showed Jo he cared every day with little things, like finding her food and caring for Hope.
Deciding to go for a walk one day, they come across a pack. Jo was so excited. She was beginning to feel lonely. It seems the pack had recently lost its alpha and the beta had no idea on how to take care of a pack.
"Oh thank god!" She exclaimed. "I can smell your alpha blood. Please tell me you dont have a pack. I had to take over. Our previous alpha had no children and i'm completely lost. Please tell me you know how to handle a pack..."
Jo shrugged "well, i have a two year old...how much harder can a pack be." The beta turned to the pack member,
" All those who accept the stranger with alpha blood running through her veins and our new alpha, please rise." And with that, the whole pack rose to their feet. Jo had finally found a place where she belonged.
Running a pack was harder than she thought, but with the help of jason and her beta, sarah, she was doing pretty good. Hope was able to play with wolves her own again and would never have to hide who she was. Years passed and Hope was growing into a beautiful little girl. Jo and jason had completed their mating and were expecting their first child. So far, their old pack had not found them but the always stayed alert and protected their borders. When they come, they will be ready.
