SEVEN: THE CIRCLE

"Uh.. My- my- name, is, is Kira." She introduces herself nervously, "I-I ..."

"I'm Aya~!" The redhead beams, standing up and stretching out a hand, "Nice to meet you Kira~!" She shakes Kira's hand energetically, even if it's across the dining table, and she can't quite reach it.

"Y-yes, y-you too," Kira stands up, shaking Aya's warm hand.

"Oh. And the blonde girl over there is Ima, my twinshiiiee," she adds, earning a "Tch" from Ima.

"I'm Klaire," The straight-up redhead smiles, offering a hand, Kira shakes it.

"And this one's Eikai," she gestures to the girl, who, in Kira's surprise, smiles sweetly at her,

"Nice to meet you, Kira," she shakes Kira's hand, "I'm sorry for our rude behavior earlier, I thought you were like, um, a, another one."

Kira doesn't get what she said,
Another one? Then again, she hesitates to ask.

"And this guy who is acting coolly but actually stupid, is, Evan, " she pats Evan's head like a pet.

"S-stop!" Evan actually stutters, his cool-like demeaner changed completely.

"Nyahahahaha. You know, this guy is afraid of cockroac--"

"Stop it, Aya!" He hissed, a blush coloring both of his pale cheeks, "Damn it," he cursed, standing abruptly, "Now my figure is destroyed," Mumbling, he heads to the door,

"Awwwwwww, Nyahaha, figure ey? But dinner isn't finished yet, we even haven't started," Aya comments with a smile, but sarcastically.

"Like who cares," He mumbles, still walking, with his hands jammed in his pockets.

Beside her, Kira notices that her master sighs, "Evan, Aya's righ--"

"Who said you were going to ditch dinner?"

"And who said you could curse if front of the table?"

Two figures stand by the door, both crossed arms, blocking Evan completely

"Kyaaa!! El! Elle!" Aya runs towards them, passing by Evan, she stops in front of the two tall ladies, one wearing white coat and another wearing black,

"We're home," they chorused, entering the dining area completely,

Aya looks up to the ladies, both with beautiful grey eyes, although one has a fairer complexion than the other.

"Welcome home," Eikai stands up, smiling at both of them, "dinner is just starting,"

"Well, Aya, Evan, let's go sit," the fairer one commands,

And both head back to the table, with an "ugh," from Evan and a "yay!" from Aya.

As they all take their seats, the both 'el' sits beside Kira, who smiles 'welcome' at them with nervousness, Klaire then states, "Now, it's Oldy who's missing,"

O-oldy? That again? Then that means Shorty is Aya?

Kira observes Aya as she cheerfully bullies Evan, who, keeps shooing her off. At Aya's petite frame, Kira guesses she as tall as her, which is, in the circle's definition: short.

But then, who is Oldy?

Kira guesses that Oldy is the oldest one, the one who manages them. Since Old=Odest=Oldy, she thinks.

"No. I'm just as late or early as you are," a figure emerges from the hallway,

Kira's eyes widens as she sees the very same blond who warned her three times in different names.

"Y-You!" She exclaims, standing up again. Excitement and joy fills up her stomach, "I-I made it! You said I wouldn't, but I made it, Luigi, I mean Lester, oh, Loucas!" She smiles.

But her smile fades as fast as it came when the blonde stares at her, confused, "who?" He asks,

"Y-you," she defends, heat starts to rise up her cheeks.

"Me?" The guy points herself, "I'm Luke," he says, amused.

"B-but, you were that guy! That guy that warned me! Three times!" Frustration rises up with embarrassment, replacing the excitement and joy she felt earlier.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Luke just shrugs and heads off to the table, sitting at the edge beside the fairer grey eyed 'El', opposite of Ima.

"B-but.." She wants to shout, to defend more, with all eyes on her, Kira can't take in her embarrassment.

"Calm down now Kira, he said he doesn't know, maybe you mistook him with another, with everyone on dinner, we should eat." Her master smiles at her, comforting her from her embarrassment.

"I- I suppose." Kira sits down,

"So we shall eat," Her master announces, with a snap of his finger, a masked lady arrives, with a double tray cart, from the dark hallway.

Kira watches in wonder as the masked lady serves their food, opening the dishes. Everyone is silent, also eyeing her. When she's done serving, she silently withdraws to the dark hallway, closing the door.

"She really creeps me out, you know," Evan comments, still staring at the door.

Aya and Klaire nods in agreement, while Ima just scoffs. Luke shrugs, "So, dinner,"

And everyone starts to eat, Kira craves the delicious turkey. Both of the 'El's, with Luke eats their steaks. Her master and Evan are eating the turkey with Kira. Eikai eats pure vegetables, commenting how the world would be a better place if each person living is a vegetarian. Klaire proceeds drinking her wine, debating whether the one she drank earlier is better than what is served now. While Ima silently eats her own dish of  shrimps, Aya devours the whole plate of cupcakes noisily-- even if it wasn't the time for dessert yet, earning a digusted look from Evan as bits of bread and butter fly in all directions.

"You know you eat like a pig, don't you?" Evan starts, but isn't stopped by anyone, also obviously annoyed at Aya.

"Saylench, Aym Eashing," Aya glares at him,

He chuckles, "I don't really get it, how you don't get fat at this kind of diet, you-- mmmmphf!"

Aya stucks a whole cupcake at his mouth, silencing him, she smiles smugly and proceeds again, Evan just glares, "Ayll getch bash tchu yuu leytcher," he warns, but Aya isn't threatened, obviously couldn't understand what he just said. She ignores him.

"Cham itch!" He just chews his food.

Kira couldn't help but giggle, she notices that her master is also smiling, as well as Klaire, Eikai, and the two 'El's, well, Ima is scowling, and Kira notices something else,

"Aw, don't be like that, you know how pretty you are," Luke teases, smirking at Ima,

Ima rolls her eyes, averting her ever present glare from her shrimp to Luke, "Shut. Your. Hole," she whispers, but clear and sharp enough to cut a steel wall.

At those words, Kira flinches, she isn't really used to foul words.

Luke chuckles, but doesn't say anything else.
