The Battle of the Four

Chapter 1

PERCY'S POV

I really hate the gods now.

We just finished a war, and guess what? We have another quest. And to school no less.

At least my wise girl is going to be there.

After lunch we were called to the big house by Chiron. And by we I mean Will, Nico, Annabeth and me.

We all thought that it was going to be a minor quest. But nothing is ever going to be minor when the king of gods is concerned.

Yup. Zeus came down and ordered the quest on his own.

So now we're shadow travelling to London.

"Ugh, I'll never get used to that" says Will once we get there.

We have appeared in front of and inn called the leaky cauldron. Well I guess this is where our quest starts.

We walk in and talk to the bar tender.

"Hi, could we get a room to stay in until the Hogwarts express comes?" Nico asks.

"Yes, but you'll have to pay now, it's 1 gallon" he says.

We look around in panic, we don't have money yet, but in an attempt to look like I have it I put my hand in my pocket and feel something hard, I pull it out and it's 1 gallon.

Everyone is a little surprised but I just casually hand it to the bar tender who hands us our room key.

Once we put our stuff in room we head out to diagon alley.

Our first stop is gringotts.

The trip is uneventful so outside we split up, Will and Nico getting their wands and Annabeth and I getting our robes.

We head to the store that has a name that I forgot because I wasn't listening to Zeus when he assigned us to this quest.

We bump into a boy with blond hair.

He takes an immediate liking to Annabeth.

"Hey, are you Hogwarts students, I've never seen you around" he says.

Annabeth is the first to answer.

"We're from America, we didn't know that we were wizards until a few days ago, we just got here and need to get our robes, do you mind showing us to the store?"

"Sure. What are your names? Mine is Draco, Draco Malfoy" he says.

"My name is Percy, and this is my girlfriend, Annabeth" I tell him.

He looks displeased at the word 'girlfriend' but shows us to the store anyways.

Annabeth goes in first and Draco and I wait outside.

"So, how long have you known Annabeth?" He asks.

"I met her when I was 12 at a summer camp we go to" I answer.

He nods.

We stand in awkward silence until he asks a question.

"What house do you think you'll be in?" He asks.

"What do you mean 'house'?" I ask him.

"Well at Hogwarts everyone is split into houses, the houses are Hufflepuff for the loyal, Gryffindor for the brave, Ravenclaw for the smart, and Slytherin for the cunning. I'm in Slytherin, it's the best house" he says.

"I think that I'd be in hufflepuff and Annabeth would probably be in Ravenclaw, but I don't know what 'cunning' means" I tell him.

"From what I understand it means 'People who would do anything to achieve their goals' but a lot of the other students often describe us as prideful" he says.

"That sounds like Annabeth" I remark.

"And what about you, do you think you'd be in it too?" he asks.

"No, I'd be in hufflepuff, no doubt about it. Someone once told me that I'd give up the world to save a friend, and I can't disagree with them" I say but add, under my breath "I almost did that"

I think that Draco heard that but he didn't mention it, he didn't have time because Annabeth decided to exit the store with her robes at that moment.

I head in to get fitted for my robes but I see Annabeth and Draco talking out side, she's giggling at something that he's saying. I'm not usually the jealous type but for some reason I get angry at this.

I buy my robes and head outside.

"Well looks like your boyfriend has returned" Draco mentions to Annabeth.

Then we hear a explosion, and Annabeth and I, being demigods, run towards it.

Malfoy follows behind us. "Guys that came from Olivander's wands, someone probably just was trying to find their wand and it made something exploded"

"Well we need to get our wands anyways" I shout back at him.

Draco is gasping for breath "Then please walk, I'm not good at running"

I look back at him. "Then if you want to be my friend or Annabeth's friend, get better at running, we run a lot"

"Percy!" Annabeth shouts.

Then I run into another person.

First chapter and Percy is already in the action. Oh and Draco has a crush on Annabeth. Also the reason for having Draco be a little nicer than he usually is is because he wants to impress Annabeth.
