Chapter 46: Vacation in Kauai (Part 1/3)

"I thought we were done for, I thought we were finished... That was until Gabriella got cell service and managed to save our lucky asses..." KurtDestin said wiping the sweat from my brow. "Even now, the story still shocks me."

"So how did it happen?"

"I'll start from the beginning of the trip, that's how it all started..."

A Week Ago

(KurtDestin's POV)

It was finally time for our vacation. Miranda, Cassidy, Riley, Gabriela, and I finally made it to Kauai in Hawaii. We sent Lil back to Los Angeles with Selena who is now staying in our house. After the tenant left, we had a huge chunk of spending money. We used it to help out Gabriella and her mom.

When Gabriella's parents divorced, Mr. Monét left her mom with nothing. She went from a wealthy stay-at-home mom to a woman who lived in a two bedroom apartment working three jobs and barely being able to support herself and her two daughters. Eventually, greed took over Brooke and she moved in with their dad. Ever since, Gabriella had been working her ass off during her spare time to help her mother pay the bills. Luckily, we gave the money to Gabriella's mother who used it to pay off her debt and now we moved her into our apartment in Richmond.

We shuffled into our hotel with our bags and Riley started talking to the lady up front to get our key cards. Once she retrieved them, we walked up to our hotel room and settled in.

"Okay everyone." Miranda smiled "Welcome to our 2 week Hawaii vacation!"

"Woohoo!" We all cheered.

"So when did they first appear?"

"That night while we sat by the pool..."

It was a nice night as we all sat by the pool. They had a giant blowup which had a movie playing on it. Speakers were generating volume as everyone watched the 2012 movie Avatar.

"I wish I was blue..." Miranda muttered.

"Why would you want to be blue?" Riley laughed.

"Good point." Added Cassidy.

"Well, I'd get to where slutty clothing and no one would care! I'd also have a tail."

"Hey, I'm going to run to the bar to get us some food. Gabriella, will you join me before I turn blue?"

"Why of course." Gabriella laughed and we asked up to the food bar.

"Aloha!" The man said "What may I assist you with?"

"Just a few-" I paused when Gabriella interrupted me.

"Frier!" She gasped.

"What?"

"They're here. I swear I just saw Lincoln."

"Let's go tell the others. Excuse us." I said to the kind gentleman and he walked off.

"Hey boss, they saw you. Everything is going as planned." The man said into his phone.

"So the waiter at the bar was with them?"

"Yes."

"Now what about the part when your first friend was taken?"

"You'll have to ask her."

"Fine. Miss Hues, please enter."

"Hello, Officer."

"I need you to explain what happened when the Frier brothers kidnapped you."

"Ah, yes. Here we go..."

(Cassidy's POV)

I was tanning on the beach beside Miranda while KurtDestin, Riley, and Gabriella were out getting us snow cones.

"Hey, Miranda, I'll be right back. I'm going to chat with that cute guy over by the surf shack. He's been checking me out."

"Ok. I'll be here if you need me." Miranda replied and sunk her face back into the towel she laid on.

"I walked over thinking this wouldn't be a big deal, I talk to cute guys all the time. I know I'm married, that's why I scare them off."

I encountered him and spoke "I noticed you checking me out."

"Straight forward, huh? It's hot." The dude smirked.

"I'm married sicko." I rolled my eyes "So keep your eyes off of me."

"I'm sorry." He sighed "How about this, I'll go get my bag and give you this seashell I found. It's a small conch shell I found while I was out diving. I usually give it as a gift to a pretty, single, girl."

"If you wish." I sighed and he walked across the corner.

SMASH!

"Agh!" The dude yelled.

"I ran across the corner and he was on the ground with a supply shelf on him."

"What happened after that?"

"The worst thing that could of happened..."

I quickly lifted the shelf off of him and as I reached down to help him up, he yanked me down and got on top of me. He put a towel with a strange smell to it on my face and I quickly fell unconscious.

"I had officially been kidnapped."
