LOUIS // DECEMBER 2016

It had been two weeks since Louis learned about what happened with Harry, and vice versa. Two weeks since they started somewhat dating. They decided they'll do their official first date after the baby was born, seeing that Harry's Braxton Hick contractions came back and had been regular for almost a week.

It ended up working, however. Louis got the job at the grade school and had finished his first two of four courses, which he got paid for, then he would be starting in January after Winter Break. He was worried about how he would juggle starting a new job, being a new relationship, and having a newborn baby. He would get slightly overwhelmed at times, but he knew that it would solve itself out.

But as of right now, Louis had Harry on bedrest, however the poor pregnant boy didn't want to confined to the bed. Harry complained about it twenty four-seven. But Louis tried to make it as fun as possible. He brought all the DVD players, game consoles, and the stereo into the room. But Harry wanted to be up, not just have unlimited access to the movies and video games. So, he tried to come up with a plan.

Louis walked into their room (Yes, their room. Harry insisted he sleep in there with him, his nightmares never happened when Louis was there.) and Harry was watching Friends with Winnie curled on top of his belly.

"Haz, get dressed. I want to take you somewhere."

Harry looked up at him, a suspicious look on his face. "You haven't let me leave this room in almost a week. Now you want me to leave?"

"Yes. I made arrangements for a surprise for you. If you go into actual labor, I have your hospital bag in the car and the baby's carseat is already in place. You're getting cabin fever, Hazza. Let's go out."

"Fine, help me up," Harry smiled, picking the cat up and placing her on the bed.

The pregnant boy offered his hands to Louis and he pulled him up and out of bed. Louis picked out a pair of jeans with an elastic band and a clean, plain shirt. He left Harry to change and went into the kitchen to put food in the bowl for Winnie, making the cat come prancing in, and fresh water.

When Harry waddled into the room, Louis helped him into a pair of way too expensive boots and his coat. After putting his own coat on, Louis guided Harry out of the room. He helped Harry into the car and then drove them back to the old neighborhood, where Harry's mum still lived.

Louis pulled into the driveway of his old childhood home. He glanced over at Harry and saw the confused expression. Louis asked, "Ready, love?"

"Uh... Sure."

They walked up the steps and onto the porch, Louis opened the front door. Louis had come by here the day before last, he was originally coming to inform Anne that Harry and him were dating. But as he was talking with her, the idea struck. He went next door, and asked the new owner if he could do this. Explaining that this was for his pregnant boyfriend. She accepted, thinking it was cute and romantic.

The boys went up the stairs, walking into Louis's old room. It was now an office of some sort, but it wasn't where they were staying for too long. Louis said, "This is where we had our first kiss, where I asked for you to make love to me and where I choked up and couldn't tell you my feelings."

"Louis," Harry said, laughing but his eyes were filled with tears. Louis smiled at his boyfriend and opened up the window, stepping out onto the ledge. The ledge was thinner than he remembered, but he knew Harry could walk half of a foot distance to the flat part of the roof that they used to sit on.

"Give me your hand, Haz," Louis said.

"Louis, I'm too pregnant to do this. What if I fall?" Harry asked, his tone panicky as he looked down.
