HARRY // DECEMBER 2016
Song of the Chapter: I Love You by Little Mix

It was around noon, two hours after Harry gave birth to Olivia. Harry got moved into a very nice hospital room, thanks to Jesy. His mum and sister decided to go out for lunch, so it was just him, the baby, and Louis.

Olivia had just finished her first bottle and was sleeping peacefully in the hospital crib. Louis was texting or something on his phone while Harry inhaled a sandwich and salad that the hospital provided.

"Who are you texting?" Harry asked his boyfriend.

"My mum and sisters. They keep wanting more pictures," Louis laughed, putting away his phone.

"What did you tell your mom? I'm sure she's curious why her son suddenly has a daughter," Harry said, grabbing the bottle water and drinking it.

"I just told her that her real father wasn't a good guy and I'm protecting both of you. That's all she has to know," Louis explained, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Okay... She had no objection to it?" The last thing Harry wanted to do was to cause a problem between Louis and his mum. He didn't want to become Kyle.

"If she does, she hasn't said anything."

"I just don't want to be a pain in the ass boyfriend, Lou. I don't want you to choose me over your family because you feel obligated to be Olivia's father," Harry told him.

Louis leaned in, capturing his lips. He kissed, and kissed, Harry until they were both breathless. Louis told him, "I want to be Olivia's father. There won't be an issue, okay? I promise."

"I love you," Harry told Louis for the first time in two weeks. The last time he said it, Louis yelled at him. So he was slightly scared that they weren't ready for the 'I-love-you's just yet.

Louis smiled, leaned in, and kissed Harry again. He pulled away and said, "I love you too. I've always loved you, I never stopped. Not for a single day."

"Good, because I've loved you everyday."

Olivia whined from her crib and Harry watched as Louis reacted immediately. He walked over to her and picked her up. His nose scrunched up as he said, "I think she's made a bit of a mess in her diaper."

"Shall we experience changing the first diaper together?" Harry asked, pushing himself up on the bed and wincing. The stitches pulled and rubbed in an awful way, but it was worth it. He had a beautiful baby as a result.

Louis's eyes widened and he immediately asked, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, it's just my stitches pulled a bit. I'm good now. Bring me the baby," Harry said, making grabby hands for Olivia. Louis passed her off, and went to the package of diapers and wipes they had brought in the hospital bag.

As Harry looked at his daughter, he couldn't believe how beautiful she was. How could something so innocent and beautiful, something Harry loved so wholeheartedly, come from such a horrible human being, someone Harry hated with all his being? Harry wanted to make sure she never became what Kyle was and that she would never be hurt by someone like Harry was. He wanted more than he had for her.

Harry unfolded the blanket from the newborn and she sat there in a diaper. Harry told Louis when dropped the diaper and packet of wipes on to the bed, "Get her an onesie, please. It's cold and she just has a diaper."

Harry opened the new diaper and then pulled the tabs of the diaper off, pulling it down to reveal something that resembled black tar and urine. Louis placed the onesie next to Harry and said, "Is that normal? The black stuff?"
