AN: This is my last chapter.

....

Kind of. This is the very last chapter I have pre-written. I warned you all about my terrible habit of slow updates, now you will see for yourself. My updated might get deathly slow, I might even miss months, but I will never give up on this story.

Also: I am turning 20 on the 30th :D

She was in and out of consciousness, her body hot and cold. It seemed like it was endless. Whenever she was awake someone would quietly tell her to sleep. She obeyed, unwillingly.

Then, she awoke. The room was completely unfamiliar. It looked like the infirmary in the Akatsuki's place, but this was slightly different.

One of the differences was her cousin sitting beside her. He looked pale, his cheeks sunken.

"Neji-nii?" His eyes shot to her face. Instantly he brightened, now he looked ten times healthier. He scooped her up in his arms, making her blink. Why was he here...? Just as she was about to ask why, the big busty woman from before came in. Now, she was even more confused. Akastuki and her were enemies, so why was... She shook her head as Neji pushed her to lay back. She struggled to get up, but he held her down.

"Ah, yes keep her down." The woman nodded, her eyes roaming over them. Obviously she was pleased with Neji. Her cousin nodded, making her huff. Ah, but why was she here? "Good. The effects of the poison must be completely clear now." Ah right, yes. That's what happened.

Still, this did not make sense.

The woman must have noticed her confusion. "A favor." She blinked, even more confused. The busty woman folded her arms, looking slightly annoyed. "A favor for Kimi. Although the boys got rid of the poison, Kimi thought it would be best for a REAL doctor to care for you."

Hinata's heart fluttered. Kimi was always so kind, it made her so warm. "Thank-" Her voice was cut off by the lady, whom trampled all over her. Ah, she forgot what it felt like to be ignored. In the Akatsuki, they always listened to her. No one trampled over her words.

"You will need to stay here for a few weeks, we need to make sure there are no side effects." Oh... She drooped. But! She could still go see the Akatsuki right?

"Can I go-"

Once again, the lady cut her off. "No, you cannot go see them. I will have you on strict watch for the next few weeks. You are not to do anything strenuous." Hinata drooped even more.

She already did not like this.

"Don't worry Hinata, Tsunade is the best doctor in the city." Neji held her hand tightly, making her blink. She was not even aware he was touching her.

It was not warm, like her Akatsuki's touch. Nor special.

She looked to the roof, her mind blank. It was only a few weeks, it could not be that bad right...?

It was clearly the middle of the night, since the room was dark and the house silent. She blinked sleepily at the person beside her, the hair blocking her eyes making her vision blurry. She could tell he had dark hair, dark eyes, and pale skin. He looked almost identical to Itachi to her sleep filled eyes. Wasn't she at Tsunade's place? There was no way he would be here... Right? But, he had the same smell. It had to be him.

She sat up wobbly, her balance completely off. Lunging crookedly, she tossed her arms around his neck. Her bottom half fell out of the bed, making him catch her and pull her onto his lap. If she was a cat, she would purr at his intense warmth. She nuzzled into his neck, quickly drifting back to sleep.

She awoke back in the bed. Now, she was fully awake. Smiling brightly she looked over expecting to see Itachi, but instead she filled with dread.

It was not Itachi. It was the dark-haired boy who looked like Itachi. He sat in the chair gloomily, his frown so embedded on his face she was sure it was a mask. Perhaps her actions troubled him? Yes, that would be understandable! She did after all cling to him. How terrible! She rolled off the side of the bed, bringing the blanket with her. She curled up in it, cocooning herself. This was the worst thing ever. She cuddled into another man, which was not her lover! How could she ever mistake him for Itachi?

That's right. They smelled identical.

They sat in awkward silence. She was almost sure he didn't realize she moved until his voice rumbled one word. "Hn."

This was horrifying. How did she react? What did she do? She could only think of one thing. That was- "Sorry..." Ah, she said it before she could stop herself.

"Hn." Was his reply.

He was glad she was on the other side of the bed. That way, she couldn't see the ever so slightly blush that he could not stop. He had to admit, he had no idea the girl could be so bold. At first he was troubled by her actions, thinking she was much like Sakura. Yet, when she woke up, rather than attacking him, she rolled the other way.

It was reassuring in a sense. It made him a little less careful around her. So, he mumbled "hn."

"Sorry." Her voice was muffled, but he could hear her clearly. He grinned. She was kind of cute.

"Hn." He responded. Just because she was cute did not mean he would act any different-

"I thought you were Itachi." Her soft voice was obviously embarrassed.

But.

His brother? She thought he was his brother? What exactly did she do with his brother? Was that sort of clinging normal?

For some reason, he felt heated. "Hn." He responded. She peeked over the bed, making his heart soften ever so slightly.

"I... Am sorry."

"Yeah." He cursed when he accidently responded normally.

But her smile was worth it. She beamed at him, obviously pleased.

She was cute. He hated it.

It made him curse his brother for touching her.

Wait...

Why?

Oh.

He wanted her.

That smile, he liked it. A lot.
