Surprise update! I got this and the epilogue written yesterday when I wrote chapter 9 (so this is the last chapter before the epilogue). I've made you guys wait long enough for the other chapters, so I figured I'd post today.

Harry and Niall spent three days stuck together in Ireland, but they were both happy to be alone together. They'd spent that three days in luxury, spending all of the money they didn't have saved up for the ride back home for tickets to an indoor pool and jacuzzi and some room service from the hotel.
The two of them had long talks and sometimes just layed around watching television and appreciating each other. It was a lovely break from all the fans, the constant stress of Harry searching for Niall and Niall trying to get away, and all the media out there that was searching for Niall, too.
They got on the first flight they could back to London, where Harry had left the boys. Harry pulled out his phone and sent out a tweet, his thumbs gliding over the letters on his phone, trying hard to be quick as the place is about to take off.
#FindNiall is not necessary anymore. I've got him with me. #NiallCameHome
----
"Niall!" Liam and Zayn had Niall in a tight hug as soon as Niall walked through the front door. Harry walked in after him, shutting the door. He immediately put himself between Niall and Louis as Louis stepped forward for his turn to hug Niall.
"Don't touch him." Harry spat at Louis. Niall's eyes widened, confused as to why Harry was being so cruel to his best friend. What could have made him so angry? Then Niall remembered the letter he'd left for Louis, and the fact that Harry had read it. Niall regretted ever writing that stupid thing- any of them. Everyone would be better off if he'd just kept all of those secrets to himself, and Harry being rude to Louis right in front of him was proof for that.
"Harry, it's okay." Niall said, stepping around Harry so he was between Louis and Harry. He held his arms out for Louis, and Louis let out a loud sob, his face scrunching up in pain that wasn't physical. He glanced at Harry for just a moment, then he hugged Niall. Zayn and Liam, who were watching the whole scene, didn't miss the way Harry flinched as soon as Louis' fingers made contact with Niall's skin.
"I'm so sorry, Niall." Louis cried into the younger boy's shoulder. His arms were wrapped tight- too tight- around Niall's somewhat fragile body, since he hadn't eaten much in a while. "I'm so, so sorry. I love you."
"I love you too, Louis." Niall said. He let things fall silent for a moment before he pulled away from the hug, getting a proper look at Louis. He wiped at the boy's tears. "It's okay, Louis, I'm okay. We're okay- I'm not angry. Don't cry."
As Niall continued to wipe away Louis' tears, Harry's jaw tightened. It took all his strength not to let his fists clench, too, because he knew he would end up punching someone- preferably Louis. Harry didn't understand, he really didn't. How could Niall just forgive Louis like this? After how much Louis hurt him? After how much damage Louis did? How could Niall even consider him tolerable, much less a brother?
"I never, ever meant to hurt you, Niall." Louis continued to sob, wiping at his own tears now and leaving Niall to just stand there and wait for him to stupid blubbering on and on. "I-I was just so mad because I-I loved Harry and I wanted Harry and I'm- I'm so fucking sorry, Niall."
"He's worth fighting over." Niall said, nodding. He glanced back at Harry who was stood, looking angry, with his arms crossed over his chest. Niall gave him a look and a sigh, then turned back to Louis who didn't seem to want to stop crying.
"I'm done trying to make him happy by being with him." Louis promised. "I just want him to be happy. You make him happy, Niall."
Niall blushed. He hugged Louis once again, then walked back to Harry. Harry wrapped his arms around Niall as soon as he was within reach, kissing him hard. When he pulled away from the kiss, he pulled Niall into a hug, glaring at Louis as if challenging him to be jealous. But Louis just gave him a small smile, catching onto Harry's anger and knowing it would be worse to just stare.
"Don't be mad at Louis." Niall spoke into Harry's shirt, his voice quiet so Louis didn't hear. "He just wanted you. I'm not saying you have to forgive him, just don't hold it against him, okay? He's your best friend."
Harry looked at Louis, who was still smiling softly at the like there was no problem. His gaze fell back to Niall, who was looking up at him with hope in his eyes. Harry sighed. "And . . . you forgive him for hurting you like that?"
"Yes." Niall said. He didn't even hesitate to answer. Louis was better now, he was in a right state of mind. He wouldn't be hurting Niall any time soon, and Niall knew that.
It was weird, now, as Niall thought. He used to despise Louis slightly, for wanting what he wanted. And he thought it wasn't fair, because Niall wanted Harry and Louis wanted Harry, and Louis hurt Niall but Niall didn't hurt Louis. It wasn't fair, but it was in the past and Niall knew Louis was just hurt. If Louis was hurt over Harry, Niall should be hurt over Harry, too. Niall didn't mind that, especially now that it wasn't happening anymore.
"Well," Harry glanced over at the oldest boy again. He kept his eyes locked on Louis, even as he spoke to Niall. "I guess I can forgive him too, then."
Harry was still pretty mad, but he was going to do what Niall wanted- he wasn't going to hold it against Louis. Niall was fine, anyways, so there really was no reason to. And when Niall gave him an award-worthy smile, leaning up to press a kiss to Harry's cheek, Harry felt a little better about forgiving Louis.
Harry let go of Niall, walking over to where Louis stood. Louis was still watching the pair, his hands shoved in his pockets. His eyes followed Harry as Harry made his way over. Louis gulped. He thought he was going to get hit, but he didn't move away. He just closed his eyes again, planning on just taking every hit again.
The hit never came. Harry paused in front of Louis, ready to ask why Louis had closed his eyes, but he decided against it. He wrapped his arms around Louis, hugging him tightly. Louis opened his eyes and, cautiously, wrapped his arms around Harry, too.
"I forgive you." Harry said simply. He pulled away from the hug after that, pointing a finger and placing it against Louis' chest. "But I swear to god, if you ever hurt a single hair on Niall's head on purpose-"
"You can beat me into a coffin." Louis finished for him. Harry rolled his eyes, pulling his hand back and crossing his arms.
"Well, I wouldn't kill you." Harry muttered. He had been looking at the ground, but his gaze fell back to Louis. "You're still my best friend, idiot."
Louis chuckled, and Harry chuckled, too. Niall, who decided he didn't need to watch Harry anymore to make sure he didn't hurt Louis, gestured Liam and Zayn over with two fingers so he could speak to them.
"You should call Danielle, tell her what you did." Niall told Liam before either boy could say anything. He turned to Zayn, then. "You should call Perrie, too, and tell her what happened."
"I'd hate to break that to her over the phone." Zayn said, making a face. Liam nodded in agreement. The two of them looked a bit tense, as if they were nervous. Niall could imagine why they would be. But this had to happen, the girls had to know. These things couldn't be kept secret anymore.
"Tell them to come over, then." Niall suggested. He's almost said it with force, trying to prove the point in his head, but he forced his voice to be soft. "Maybe you should fly them out here, it'd be great to see them again."
"I think I will." Liam said, his hands in his pockets. He was rocking back and forth on his feet, showing that he was extremely nervous, just as Niall had guessed. "I miss Danielle, and she deserves to know what happened between us."
"I miss Perrie, man." Zayn muttered. He didn't comment on his mistake, just pulled out his phone to send her a text message instead. Liam and Niall both laughed at Zayn. Harry and Louis were chuckling together. The atmosphere was light, the mood was happy, and everything felt alright again.
Everything was alright again.
