I ask my self time and time again why I won't let myself speak. Why I won't let anyone in close enough to hear what I want to say. They say they will understand if I just speak. But I know it's all a lie. I know that the moment I let someone close enough to hear me, the moment my voice sinks into their ears they will turn around and leave. They always leave because it's easier than to stay and try to understand. I know it's easier 'cause that's what I did. I built my walls, left and threw the key over so there is no way I could get back through. I figured since everyone else left... I should to.
