This is a story of perfect Tawakkul, trust in Allah!
————————————————There was a father who was always very eager to go make Hajj. Every year, he would save little by little, waiting for the day that he will pack his bags, and go for Allah's House. SubhanAllah, a year came, in which he had saved up enough. Excited, he went to tell his family. "I have the money to for hajj this year! AlhamduLILLAH!" Excited as he was, he knew that he had to work hard for his family in order to leave them with a suitable amount of food and clothing while he is gone.
The day finally came. The dad attended to his family once more. His wife, was very displeased with her husband's decision. All this time, she didn't agree with him leaving. "What if the savings run out! What are we going to do then!" Then all of a sudden their young daughter stood up. Allah had blessed this family with this daughter. She spoke and said, "Mother, we have to put our trust in Allah. Let father go and make hajj. Everything will be fine by Allah's Will." At that, the father smiled. He suddenly felt as if he had to go. The mother on the other hand, scorned at her daughter. But with all this the father decided to leave anyway, taking the advice of his righteous daughter.
A day came, when the food and savings of the family ran out. The mother got very angry. She blamed the daughter for putting the family at jeopardy. But the daughter was stronger than ever in her trust in Allah. She went to her room ,and raised her hands, wanting to make dua to Allah. She asked Allah to help their family, and that Allah's Promise is always true. He (swt) Promises to never let down the ones who Trust Him, and Him alone. She remembered this and put it in her dua. Immediately, there was a knock at the front door. The daughter went to open the door, and there, standing in the doorway, was the governor of the city. He was with his helpers and they were looking for someone to give some water. They were thirsty after travel and stopped by to quench their thirst. The daugher then goes back to the kitchen and pours some fresh water into a very nice vessel for the governor. She went out to the door and handed the drink to the governor. He drank with satisfaction and exclaimed, "Who brought such nice water?" When told, he asked the young girl for her father. She told him that he was making Hajj. The governor was shocked at this. Someone needs to provide for them."We have to provide for this girl and her family, until the father comes back." The young girl was overjoyed. She knew Allah had answered her call. And from that day on, until the day the father came back, the governor would send the family pouches of gold and silver.
SUBHANALLAH!!!
We learn a very, very, very beautiful lesson from this story. Always put your trust in Allah, no matter the situation. No problem is too big or too small for Allah, the Most Merciful, to fix. Remember that. Allah will always be the Protector and Provider for those who call out to Him. Do your best, and leave the rest to Allah, he will be there for you!!!
