Chapter 5

(Nikku's POV)

After a bath with (y/n), I put on my pjs and went to bed then closed, pretended that I went fast asleep. When she finally went to bed, I got up to put on my shoes, grab my katana, and heads out to one of (y/n)'s friend's house.

I looked through her windows that it's pitch dark and that her and her parents are asleep. Now it's my chance to do my job. I jump and grabbed the edge of the window and slightly opened the windowsill. Still surprised that she never locked her window. Which is stupid at first, but good at this time.

Anyways, I took a peek inside the room, look around, and sees Riko in her bed sleeping. I smirked and quietly sneaked inside without a sound. Tip toe close to her then quickly covered her mouth that made her wake up, scared to death that she saw me, with a creepy smile on my face.

"Shhh. Don't want to wake your parents up." I took my katana out. "I'll make this quick.."

Riko started to shake in fear, cold sweats rolling down on her face, doesn't know what to do. So then, I raised my katana high, and cut her throat. Watching the blood spreading, I let go of her mouth, and quickly washed up before running back home.

(Reader's POV)

~The next day~

Your in my class, sitting on your desk, looking around that all of the students were talking about something that you don't know about then they turn to take a quick look at you, which was very confusing.

"(Y/n)!" Someone called your name and it was the twins, Lina and Luna, also your best friends.

You looked at them and give them a concern look. "Lina, Luna, what's going on? What are these people talking about and why they're glancing at me?" You asked them questions.

"Haven't you heard?" Lina started.

"Riko got killed last night in her room." Luna added.

You shot up from your desk. "Killed?"

"Yeah. Read this for yourself." Luna took her touch screen phone out and hands it to you.

You took her phone and started to read that Riko got killed in her room last night that her throat was cut opened by a sharp object. You froze, couldn't move after you read that article.
Luna takes her phone back from you and slightly shook you.

"(Y/n)?" Lina called your name.

You fall back down on your desk and covered your face, started to cry a little.

"Why Riko? Why her? She doesn't deserve anything like this.."

Lina and Luna got around you and hugs you very close to them, in their arms.

"Hey, we don't know who did it. But everything will be fine." Luna tries to cheer you up.

Lina nods and slightly smiles. "Yeah because Riko is looking down at her friends right now, knowing that we'll be ok."

You sniffled and nod to their words, knowing that these two girls will always be there for you, by your side. You wrapped your arms around them and held them tight knowing that you really cared for them.

I'm glad I had these two left. But, why would someone kill Riko? Who..and why?
