~Clarence's POV~ Ms.Victoria and I are walking in the hallway trying to reach our destination, while wearing my predator mask. I take a peek at Ms.Victoria and quickly looks away, just to be sure that she looked down at me. My thoughts started to go around like crazy and my face flushed with a smile. "She'll be a wonderful mother." I whispered to myself. "Did you say something, Clarence?" Ms.Victoria asked while looking at me. I panicked a bit and scratched the back of my head. "N-No! I was just speaking out loud to myself!" I nervously laugh, didn't know that Ms.Victoria had heard me just a slight bit but still didn't know what I just said. I slightly took a breath and exhale it through my mouth as we kept going to find our destination.
"So, tell me Clarence." Ms.Victoria breaks the silence as we kept walking. "Does your parents even know that you've ran away and hidden yourself here in this hospital?" I looked down when she mentioned about my parents. Ms.Victoria sees my sad expression and quickly changes the subject. "We should hurry and find that-"
"My parents," I interrupted her by talking about my past, "they kicked me out of the house when I was 5 because they think I was a mistake when my mom made birth to me. I was being mistreated. I always have been. So, I moved into my grandparents place and their the only people I can trust because they give me unconditional love. That's all I ever wanted, was love from family. But when I turned 10, my grandparents died from a terrible illness and I don't have anybody left that will take care of me." I looked up at Ms.Victoria and slid my mask above my head with a soft smile. "Until I met you guys. You and your friends are really amazing, like a true family that looks out for a each other. That's the kind of family I wanted."
Ms.Victoria took off her glasses and wipes her tears because she was crying Clarence's sad story. "Oh, Clarence!" She got on her knees and gave him a big hug. "I'm really sorry that happened to you! But I'm so happy that your here with us!" She departed from the hug and looks at me.
A small smile appeared on my face and gently wipes the tears from her eyes with my long sleeve shirt. "Its ok. What's in the past is in the past. I still need to look forward." A small smile had also appeared in Ms.Victoria's face that she's proud of me to get through the pain.
Suddenly, someones clapping in the distance that made me and Ms.Victoria being in guard. I squinted my eyes to see who exactly it is.
"O-Oh my Lord.."
I turned to see Ms.Victoria is in fear and her whole body is shaking like a leaf. I turned back around and I know why she is scared, because that person is her dad.
Hector stopped clapping and slowly walk towards us, finally got out of the shadows to see his face in the light. His eyes are closed and he's smiling but its a chill feeling behind it. "I say, that is the most touching moment I have ever seen in years. But, I don't like for anyone to touch my daughter. Including you." He titled his head. "Now, come along, my sweet Victoria. We still have unfinished business to take care of."
Ms.Victoria took a couple of steps back then I put my arm out to protect her. My face still flat. "Don't worry, Ms.Victoria. I'll fight with you by your side."
"Oh ho. Then shall we play? You unacceptable child?" Hector halfway opened his eyes and did a smirk.
Now he's done it. Called me unacceptable. Its time to get really serious. "Yes. Let us shall.." I slid the mask back down to put it back on and pulled my two katanas out of their sheath.
