Ch. 7

after running into the living room we saw Dez sitting on the floor legs crossed. I walked over and sat on her right on the couch, raph directly behind her donny on her left and mikey next to her on the floor. donny grabbed the remote and pressed play.

"hey! this is my best friend ever! shes also my big sister.." Kaylynn appeared pointing to desire in her human form, she was listening to music, with headphones in. "but hey whatevs, we may fight a lot, but we love eachother." she threw a pillow at her Dez. "what the heck was that for?!" Kaylynn stuck her tongue out at her. "you were being all quiet again!" Dez looked at the camera. "wh-what are you doing?! turn that off." she covered her face in her hands and turned her back to the camera. "shes just a little camera shy." she winked at the screen. "no. I am not!" "yes you are. don't worry. I'm keeping this one for when you get married one day! that way I can show it to everyone and tell them allll about how shy you are." dez rolled her eyes and got up. "whatever. Im gonna go make dinner." "the sooner you realize the problem the sooner it can be fixed!!" she yelled back at dez as she walked out of the room. "thats right Kay.. I did have to admit it.." dez said quietly from the floor. mikey looked at her and put a hand on her shoulder. she turned her head the the side and gave him a smile. a single tear fell down her cheek.

"hey sis.. would it be okay if I taped you while you played your guitar?" dez looked up from the guitar nodding silently. she silently strummed and picked the strings.

there in the dark-" "what have I told you about playing that pathetic distraction of an instrument!" the guitar was torn from her hands. Kaylynn grabbed the camera and put it under a pillow but left it so we would still be able to see. "I'm sorry father.." "you had better be! learn from Kaylynn. at least she bows her head with dignity!" a crash sounded amd we saw the splintering wood of the guitar all over the floor. Dez covered her mouth a gasp escaping quietly. she lowered her head and stared at the guitar. "and you. what are you staring at?! you little brat!" a hard sound of skin hitting skin made us all jump out of our shells. we could see Dez get up in the corner of the screen, fists balled up and ready to punch. "dont touch her!" she pounced at him kicking the shredder away from Kaylynn. we could see Kaylynn back up towards the camera and she grabbed it facing it towards the fight between dez and oroku saki.

she was breathing heavily, her eyes sparked with anger and determination. "never. touch. her. stay away from my sister!" "you are both mine. you have no say in what I can do!" they were yelling at eachother circling one another. he lunged at her and they rolled onto the ground. she brought her legs up and kicked him back. she rolled and wiped a trail of blood from her lip. "Kaylynn come on!" she grabbed her sisters arm and ran out the door. the camera shook with every leap they took. Dez looked back at her and grabbed her arm again pulling her into a cupboard. she raised a finger to her lips. "shh." she closed the door and ran down the hall. about thirty seconds went by then something went flying down the hall and we could hear skin against brick, and sickening snaps. the door to the cupboard opened slowly. we saw Dez on the ground facing the wall. "sis? Dez?! Desire!? are you alright?!" the camera hit the ground rightside up and Kaylynn ran towards her sister she kneeled by her and turned her on her back. she wiped away blood from her forehead. "I'm so sorry.. you always put me before you." Dez coughed lightly. "its no big deal kay.. c'mon." she slowly pushed herself up. she leaned against the wall holding her side. a red substance was bleeding out of her tan tee shirt. beyond the pain she was no doubtingly feeling she climbed out the window and jumped onto the fire escape. Kaylynn grabbed the camera and climbed out after her.

Dez shook her head as the movie turned into a black screen. "I didnt know she had gotten that much on tape.. I kinda wish she never had.." she got up and stretched out. "I'm gonna get some pizza anyone want anything?" we all shook our heads. "alright.. after I eat if you want we can watch another mov-" "hey Dez! if your watching this movie.. well, I'm probobly gone forever.. I told you so. I saw it in a vision a while back. look. I know your probobly still grieving..  don't worry. even though Karai killed me, it doesnt mean she killed you. a group of extraordinary boys have probably found you by now.. theres something you should know before I'm out of time, oroku saki is not your father. hamato yoshi is. your real name is Miwa.. splinter will know who you are.. take care of Mikey, just like youve taken care of me all these years. I love you big sis. I love you desire." tears were streaming down her face and she dropped the pizza she was eating on the table. she walked passed us. "sorry guys.. we'll watch a movie tomorrow.." and she walked on as her voice cracked.
