The nightmares were getting worse. Almost every night since she lost him she'd wake up in a cold sweat calling out for him. Tonight Jensen was staying in a dusty motel just outside of Lake Lock, she was going to the factory tomorrow morning hoping and praying to find something; anything to lead her to Cody.

---------------------------

It was dark, cold and wet, he didn't know where he was; he didn't care.
After Frank had thrown him in the back of the van he was livid, thrashing and screaming at the top of his lungs until exhaustion his words mostly consisting of "you dirty bastard.", "I trusted you!"and "I'll kill you!" repeated over and over like it would make a difference. He couldn't bring her back, nothing he could do would ever bring her back.
When the van had stopped they open the doors, Cody was sat agains the wall head in his hands having broken them
from the zip ties hours ago. The inside of the van was demolished;
dents covering the walls and glass shattered over the ground. Frank was speechless at first but soon spoke up.
" Cody my god you can't be that upset, I know you she was just your little whore for the summer, we'll find you a new new soon enough. Hell you could even have ChiChi over there if you want."
Cody said nothing.
"Now get up we have work to do."
He didn't move.
"you made a deal Cody I expect you to keep to it."
Frank gritted out.
"you already broken your end of that deal Frank."
ChiChi piled up from beside the van.
"Shut up, bitch."
Cody finally spoke up.
" you want me out, come in and get me out."
"you heard him Hank, help out guest out of the damn van."
Hank sighed and stepped into the van, grabbed Cody off the floor and began dragging him out. Cody suddenly jolted forward sending Hank flying out of the van.
"Cody, Cody! just calm down and
w-we'll talk this out."
Frank pleaded.
"Does it look like I wanna talk?"
Cody said harshly stocking on to the gravel of the parking lot. He lunged at Frank tackling him to the ground, he held him down and began throwing punch after punch to his face and body. Frank attempted to fight back but Cody was stronger and much angrier.
"Hank!" he called out before receiving another blow. He slammed into Cody knocking him off Frank, Cody got off the ground and stood in front of Hank as he watched Frank disappear behind the van. He ran after him to the van but got pushed back by the much bigger Hank. Cody swung once, twice, three times Hank blocking every one before he put Cody in a choke hold. Frank emerged from behind the van with a syringe.
" this should calm he down a bit."
Frank said with a small lisp from the multiple injuries that adorn his face. Cody struggled to get out of Hanks iron grip but it was too late, Frank stuck the sedative into his neck. It didn't take long for Cody to lose feeling in his legs, torso then upper body before completely blacking out.
That's where he woke up, in the cold, wet cellar chained to a wall.
what kinda of place still has a cellar where you can chain someone to a wall?
Cody thought to himself pulling at the thick metal chains. When his eyes began to adjust he could see
a few shelves full of jars and barrels that lined the wall opposite to him.
Where's the door?
He scanned the room looking for an exit but found none. To tired to keep his eyes open any longer he leaned his head against the wall and closed his eyes, but when he did all he could see was that house and the windows that flashed like lightning.
She's gone and it's my fault, it's all my fault. If I'd just paid him the money instead of running, if I'd just told her she'd still be alive and I'd still have her next to me.
" it's all my fault."
He said so quietly he could barley hear himself.
"I'm so sorry angel."
he began to sob, letting all his pain, anger and utter sadness out with the tears as they fell to the floor.

------------------------

When Jensen left the motel the next morning she felt uneasy about going to the factory, mostly concerned with what she might fine or what she won't. She'd spent most of last night researching the abandoned pharmaceutical factory, she found 100's of noise complaints, trespassing reports and arrests that all happened on the site of the factory plus just 2 months ago police found a body in a ditch just 1.5 kilometres away from the building. His name was Greg Joffrey and he was already under investigation for suspected narcotics distribution. Everything she found lead to her believe this abandoned factory is where Frank did his 'dirty work', She hadn't found many recent reports or activities that occurred at the location so she didn't know if she'd find anything at all.

She parked her bike a little ways away from the factory and walked toward the entrance. It was dirty and old,; graffiti was covering every available space on the walls and doors and empty beer bottles littered the surrounding earth. It seemed vacant but Jensen still stayed silent, she walked into a large empty room with large plastic sheets hanging from the ceiling making the place even more creepy.
Jensen walked up a long metal stair case to a loft looking down on the main floor. she wiggled the handle but it was locked from the inside.
"goddamnit."
She said frustrated. She peaked in the window and saw a filing cabinet with papers stuffed in it haphazardly, grabbing a large piece of cracked cement off the ground she brought it down hard on the door handle breaking it off. The door creaked open and Jensen scurried inside opening the filing cabinet to see everything surprisingly organized. She flipped through the files stopping at 'Meetings and important locations', the file had one small page inside. Confused Jensen pulled out the ripped piece of note pad paper from the cabinet and read the sheet.

" What the fuck?"
Jensen said rather loudly. she quickly covered her month and listened making sure no one heard her, a minute passed and she heard nothing she let out a breath just as loud foot steps echoed through the structure. Jensen looked out the large window looking out over the main floor and saw two men, one she recognized from when Frank came to the house. Jensen fought the anger building up inside her as she turned to run out the back door clutching the small paper in her hand.
