"Jensen! come on!"
Cody yelled from the bottom of the stairs waiting at the front door.
"coming! Jeez you're impatient."
Jensen said rushing down the stairs putting in her last earring.
"I'd give you another comeback to that but I've got to say that angel you look stunning."
Cody said looking up at her in her dusty pink, tight fitting bridesmaids dress.
"thank you darling, you're look quite dashing yourself."
She said in a bad English accent as she kissed him on the cheek.
"hey lipstick!"
he said wiping off his cheek.
"deal with it."
Jensen laugh as she walked out the door to their car.

it's been 3 years since their little ordeal with Frank. After they came home everyone was so relieved, it was the only time she'd ever seen Cody's mother cry and the only time she'd her own mother smile so big she thought her face would rip in half. Jensen felt strange telling everyone that he'd got lost on his way to get groceries, she didn't like lying but telling the turth would cause even more problems. She even made Charlie and Vanessa swear they would never say anything, and they never did. Now Jensen and Cody are on their way to charlie and Vanessa's wedding.

"do you Vanessa Blake take Charlie Wells to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"you know Charlie looks like he's about to shit himself"
Jensen whispered.
"I do"
"I wouldn't be surprised if he did."
Cody answered
" and do you Charlie Wells take Vanessa Blake to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"one day I hope we can get married."
Jensen said looking at them at the alter
"I do"
"one day Jen. maybe in Vegas hmm."
"then by the power vested in me I pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride."
"Awww look so cute."
Jensen cooed
"not as cute as me."
Cody retorted
"I'm going to hit you."
"more like hit on me."
"why do I even like you."
"you don't like me, you love me."
"we're at a wedding stop talking. iloveyouto."
Jensen said as she clapped along with the crowd.

The rest of the night was filled with dancing, laughing and food; Jensen found herself throughly enjoyed food and laughs with all her friends but when the music started playing Jensen made her way to the back.
" I know you don't like dancing but you can't hide back here with these fake plants."
Cody said walking towards her
"they are not fake- nevermind."
she said feeling the pastiche leaves
"one dance, please angel?"
"fineeee but only one."
she whined
Cody smiled and took her hand leading her to the main floor. It was a slow song one of Jensen's favourites
"this is my favourite song."
she said looking at the DJ stand and there was Vanessa still in her wedding gown smiling at her.

something about you
it's like an addiction
hit me with your best shot
honey

with his hands on the small of your back and yours around his shoulders you swayed to the rhythm.
"your not a bad dancer you know."
he said
"I know."
she smirked

I've got no reason to doubt you
cause certain things hurt
and you're my only virtue
and I'm virtually yours

Jensen tilted her head up.
"so Vegas huh?"
"well it doesn't have to be Vegas it could be anywhere in the world as long as I'm with you and you're with me."
he said smiling
"thanks cheese ball that's sweet."
"cheese ball huh."

and there's certain things that I adore
and there's certain things that I ignor
but I'm certain that I'm yours, certain that yours, certain that I'm yours

on beat with the music him twirled her around and back to his chest smoothly.
"the cheesiest."
she laughed

there's something about you..
it's when you get angry
you have me at your mercy
and you're like a shoulder to turn to
cause certain thing burn just
when we're hanging on for dear life
we held on so tight

"so when we are married what's next?"
Jensen said curiously.
"kids?"
Cody said unsure.
they paused, then giggled
"cats it is."
"cats it is."
they agreed

There's certain things that I adore
and there's certain things that I ignore
but I'm certain that I'm your certain that I'm yours, certain that I'm yours
I adore you, I adore you
oh I adore you I adore you
I'm certain that I'm yours.

as the song ended another came and another they all danced until police showed. and that night on the taxi ride home Jensen felt safe, safer then she had in a long time she hoped she'd stay that way for a while.
Half asleep she was still humming the tune of the song and tracing lazy circle on Cody's bear chest as the lay in bed.
Cody couldn't believe how lucky he was to have her as he fiddled with the small silver engagement ring in the pocket of his sweat pants
