"Black tux." I say to Winter, who is posing in front of the mirror with a flowing white dress on.

"Damn, I can't wear white then." Winter says, looking slightly disappointed. Even though I can't understand why not, I decide to let it drop.

"What about this dress?" I hold up a black dress with sparkling rhinestones spreading from the sides to near the bottom of the dress. "It will match Killian's tux for sure."

In answer Winter snorts loudly, "Honey, we're not going to a funeral." Instead, she picks up, from the floor, a beautiful blue silky dress. Winter wiggles her eyebrows,  and pops behind a vintage privacy screen.

Only a couple minutes later, she reappears from behind the screen, and I almost gasp in awe.

"So...? What do you think?" Winter asks, while striking different poses as if she is at a photo shoot.

"Wow, you look amazing!" Winter's rich, dark brown hair plays well with the baby blue dress. The silk of the dress is such a light blue, that when the white glow of the lights hits the threads, it almost appears sliver. The dress is strapless and fits snuggly to her body like a second skin, but widens out in a circle of loose ruffles just around her knee.

"Thank you! It's truely one of my very favorites designed by Derek Lam" Winter curtsies playfully, "now your turn!"

"Yea, about that I need to borrow a dress. Can I?" Winter nodds enthusiastically.

From near the back of her closet, Winter pulls out a black zip up bag.

"I wore this a couple years ago at my parent's anniversary dinner, but I'm already wearing my blue dress, so if you want, it's yours." Winter carefully tugs on the zipper, until it opens to reveal the most stunning dress I have ever seen.

The dress is strapless, the top is a shimmering gold fabric, and it slowly fades into a bright red around the thighs.

"yea, wow, its gorgeous!"

"Come on! Try it on!" Winter hands the dress to me and urges me to change behind the fold.

When I come out, Winter has on a string of pearls, simple but expensive looking earrings, and a sparkling clasp.

"Tiffany," she says, explaining the jewelry. "Oh. My. God. you look amazing!!!"

"Thanks." Although the dress is not at all exposing, I feel kind of naked in this pricey piece of clothing. I've never wore anything so expensive, or so comfortable, that I feel as if I'm not good enough to wear this.

"What do you think of this?" Winter holds up a Luis Vuitton clutch.

"It matches perfectly." I reply, although I'm distracted by my reflection in the mirror.

The dress fits snuggly, but I can still breathe. And the dress it self transforms me from looking like an average girl, to someone worthy of wearing something so delicate.

I feel like I'm finally fitting in.
