"Oh Bea! Kamusta first patient mo?" Nakasalubong ko si Kean at kasama naman nya si Josh

"Ohh.. Yun naman medyo rude pero kaya naman." Sabi ko at nag smile sa kanila.

"Well good luck! Madami nang doctor umayaw sa kanya eh. Rude nga daw kasi.." Sabi ni Kean

"Pogi daw ah?" Out of nowhere na sinabi ni Josh

"Ha?" Nagulat kong sabi pati si Kean nagulat din pero parang natatawa din sya

"Uhm.. Nothing! Madami kasi nagsabi na pogi daw eh.. he he!" Sabi nya at nag kamot pa bg ulo

"Bro, ano? Nababakla ka ba o nag sese--" Sabi ni Kean but Josh cut him off and said,

"Shut the fck up. Get to work." He said and just rolled his eyes on Kean while Kean is trying not to laugh.

"What's up with him?" Sabi ko

"Hmm ewan.. Pftttt.. Na ano yata eh.. Ha ha ha na busted.." Sabi nya still trying not to laugh.

I just ignored his weird behavior and just continued working..

Pag ka pasok ko sa room ni Darren, he's on his phone while eating.

"Tss." Sabi nya while still looking at his phone. Hindi pa nya yata alam na nadito na ko sa room nya

"Uh hi?" Sabi ko at tumingin naman sya at tinago yung phone nya kung saan

"You okay?" Sabi ko sa kanya

"Yea.." Sabi nya and continued eating his food

"Ano problema?" Sabi ko ulit

"Please. Im not in the mood." Sabi nya and then he rolled his eyes at me.

"Okay?? You're always not in the mood." Sabi ko.

"Tss. So, this is my last year for college.. Im a varsity player at my school. And guess what, my coach just removed me from the team because i have a freakin cancer. Great." Sabi nya and gave me his plate at humiga sya then nag takip ng kumot

Oh? So dahil dun kaya ayaw nya mag pagamot?

After ko syang I check, lumabas na ko ng room nya at hinayaan sya magpahinga.

And then I remembered naiwan ko yung records ko sa loob ng room nya kaya bumalik agad ako.

Nung nakarating na ko sa room nya, I was about to open it but it's locked.. Weird.

I reached out for my key to open the door and when I opened it, I saw him standing at the window.

He's smoking.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Sabi ko at bigla ko inagaw yung sigarilyo sa bibig nya.

"Wh-why are you here?" Sabi nya na parang nagulat

"I am your doctor what do you expect? Where did you get that? Kala ko ba gusto mo na lumabas dito sa hospital?! Bakit paulit ulit mo parin ginagawa?" Sabi ko pero tahimik lang sya

"I don't care what you think. That's the only thing I can do." Sabi nya naman bigla

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Sabi ko

"Everything?" Sabi nya at humiga na sa kama nya at nag talukbong ulit ng kumot

"I'm so done." Sabi ko at umalis na sa room nya

Pag kalabas ko naman nakita ko si Josh na parang nakikinig. Chismoso parin to hanggang ngayon.

"Uh? Do you want to switch patients?" Sabi nya and at nag smile sakin

"I don't know. Okay lang ba sayo?" Sabi ko at nag smile naman sya

"Oo naman!" Sabi nya at nag thank you na lang ako.

Inayos na namin ni Josh yung mga paperworks na kailangan para makapag palit ng patient.

"Hindi ka man lang mag papaalam?" Sabi ni Josh

Napaisip ako. Yeah right. Mag sasabi na lang ako ng goodbye and then boom. Im not his doctor anymore.

"Okay.. Im just gonna say goodbye to you. Im not gonna be your doctor anymore. He is." Sabi ko pag kapasok ko sa room nya and pointed at Josh

Tumingin naman sya kay Josh and smirked

"Ha! I knew it. Walang makakatagal sakin. Well at least you're the longest. 8 days." Sabi nya and started playing with his phone.

Then after that, I remembered na walang nakakatagal na doctor sa kanya. So, I thought na parang ako lang yung mga doctor na yun. Weak.

"Ano? Are you sure na gusto mo mag palit?" Sabi ni Josh pag ka labas namin.

I just shrugged at him.

It's been a few days since nakipagpalit ako ng patient kay Josh.

My new patient is nice naman and Josh is keeping me updated with Darren.

He said he's been doing good and then one day,

"He has stage 3 lung cancer."
