Chapter Seventeen

Maddie's POV:
I cocked my gun then nodded at Skate. He went in front of me, I took a deep breath before starting to walk. Then a gun shot rang through the building. But then I noticed as Skate's hand slowly went down it was him. He had shot the guard that was outside the door. Then he quickly sprinted in. Once we opened the door, it was strange how nice it was. I mean Cameron Dallas is a very rich man. A scream rang through the house and I recognized it. Without even thinking I sprinted towards a door where I heard Sara. Throwing the door opened I heard Skate follow me. "Jesus. Can't you guys learn?" I heard Cameron say in an extremely calm voice. "You screw up she pays for it." "Sir. Nash has spotted people in the house." I made my way further down the steps knowing that I had three people behind me. "Tell him I'll be up in a second. I'm trying to finish something." He said. "Now. You three better sit there and keep your mouth shut or I will kill her." That sent me off. I jumped down the last three steps I had left and pulled my gun to Cameron's head. "Madison. Great to see you. What can I do for you today." He said dropping Sara's hair and walking towards me. "Don't push me Dallas." I said, I clicked off the safety and I heard everyone else do the same. "You won't shoot me. Your just a little girl. Afraid of the consequence." He chuckled, "Don't underestimate me asshole." I said, "Oh honey, this isn't even your issue so why are you here with a gun aimed at my head?" He asked smirking a little. "It became my issue once you laid a hand on Sara and It will continue to be my issue until you let her go. Now this can either go easy. or hard. You choose."

Sara's POV:
My best friend stood yards away from Cameron I bet a bullet was already in the chamber too. "Well. It depends. Is the hard way easy?" He asked, He pointed at his friends and suddenly I was jerked up. One holding my hands behind my back the other holding a gun to my temple. Maddie's steady hand became shaky. "Now. You shoot me. They shoot her." Cameron said crossing his arms. The metal was cold, but for some reason instead of making me weak it gave me confidence. "Its ok Maddie. All of a sudden Skate and two officers were there. Pointing a gun at Cameron and his men. "Oh. This is all you have?" He asked, "You know this is weird. Normally the guys are the stupid ones and the girl just stays in the back hiding. But your interesting." "Shut up Cameron. You might think your invincible but your not." Maddie snapped. All of a sudden there was a burning sensation in my cheek. Then I knew what happened. He pistol whipped me. "So. What's your choice?" Cameron said crossing his arms. "My choice is this." She said. A gun shot went off and the guy that was holding a gun to my head dropped the gun. I quickly grabbed it and scooted away from the Cameron and his non injured man who let me go once he heard the gun shot. I checked to see if the gun was loaded. It only had three bullets. It will get me somewhere. I pointed the gun at the guard and slowly stood up. Then the police officer started to talk. "Put your hands up." The police said. His assistant aimed the gun at Cameron's guard. I put the gun down and ran over to the cells that Sam, Jack, and Jack were in. As soon as I opened Sam's cell he ran to me cupping my face in his hands. "I'm glad your ok baby." He said before kissing me on the nose and pulling me in for a hug. I hugged him back. "I'm sorry." He said running circles on my back. I didn't say anything. Then Sam and I were interrupted by someone clearing their throat. "Still locked in here." I heard Johnson say. I giggle pulling away and opening their doors. Then before Sam could pull me into his arms again I ran over to Maddie. "Thank you so much." I mumbled into her hair. She hugged me back. "I'd do anything for you."

A few months later

"So?" I said, "What?" Sam replied. It was in the middle of the night and we were just laying in bed. Sam was rubbing my tummy and I was laying on his chest. I laughed, "Thank you." I randomly said. "For what?" It was silent for a few minutes. "Because you saved me from a life I didn't want to live." I said. "You were the one courteous enough to take me into your house wasted. I didn't even know you and you still treated me like we were best friends." I kissed his chest and snuggled closer. "I love you." He hummed. "I love you." I responded. Before closing my eyes and surprisingly I fell asleep.

I woke up to Sam's side of the bed empty. Sitting up in bed I looked around the room but there is was no sign of him. So sluggishly I got out of bed and made my way downstairs. "Good morning sleeping beauty." Johnson said. He was cooking something on the stove while Sam and Jack were sitting at the table both on their phones. "You know. Normal teenagers would think living in a house with four boys would be the best thing on earth but honestly you guys are little shits." I said leaning against the counter. The boys burst out laughing and Sam winked at me. "So what's the plan for today?" I ask, "Happy 19th birthday Sara. And to celebrate it. We're going to the club. And getting a wasted."
