Everything is Falling Apart

Prelude

It was a regular Saturday night for her. Coming home from a competition, this one happened to be championships where her group won second out of seven groups. It was her last performance with these people since she was a senior. She was in the car with her best friend and she fell asleep. Soon she was awakened by tired screeching and she opened her eyes to shattering glass and the car being crushed on her side. She was trapped and she felt like she was going to die. She didn't want to die anymore. She had up until she met her best friend Julian. She turned her head to see him gone and she felt a sharp pain in her neck. Not long after everything went black.

This is something a paramedic should be used to seeing but it's a different story when it's your son and his best friend. This was a usual drunk driving accident and the victims just happened to be her son and his best friend. She watched in shock while attending to her son, Julian. He was crying wanting to know what was going on with his best friend Sarah. They had gotten her out of the car and rushed her to the hospital. We were on our way there to see if he was alright. She was in critical condition and we weren't sure if she would make it through the night. I don't know what would happen if she doesn't make it. she's like a daughter to me and Julian would be crushed. She was dying all because of a drunk driver and we might not be able to save her...
