Julian's pov
After I was checked out and released from the ER I tried to get any information on Sarah they had. She got the most of the accident and my mom wouldn't tell me anything. All she said was that I couldn't see her. I couldn't take being stuck here if I couldn't see her. I couldn't drive home because the accident totaled my car so I went out to the courtyard. They had found my phone and Sarah's phone. Both of them were still working so I went and checked the guard page and posted letting the guard know what happened. I also called her parents letting them know what happened. I went back to the guard page and watched the performance. She did beautifully. When we left the school her hair was still straightened and her makeup was still perfect. That is last image I have of her before the accident. I pulled out my phone and looked through the pictures we took. We were such goofballs and these pictures showed it. There were also pictures I took during her performance she looked so happy. I don't know what I would do if I lost her. Next year would be our senior year and we met our freshmen year because of marching band. She saved my life more than once and I couldn't lose her. That would be too much. She is my best friend, she means everything to me and losing her would mean losing a huge part of me. I felt tears running down my face as I thought about her. It was taking forever to get any information on her condition. I was watching the video she took of us while we were on the bus to the competition.
"Hey Jules?"
"Yeah Sar?"
"You're my best friend, I love you"
"Well I love me too."
"Aw you little.."
"I'm kidding I'm kidding. I love you too best friend."
There was a lot of laughing and I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw my mom.
"Hey are you okay?"
I shook my head no.
"Come on. You need to eat and well you will be able to see her soon. It took a few hours but we were able to stabilize her."
