We were all pulled out of lesson during second period with Hufflepuff the girls were sat on one side and the boys were sat on the other.
"The Yule Ball is a part of the Tri-Wizard Tournament. On Christmas Eve night we and our guests gather in the great hall for well mannered frivolity" Professor Sprout started
"As members of the host school we expect everyone of you to bring your best foot forward and not act like a toddler dragon because the Yule Ball is a dance" everyone began to murmur
"Now where's my Champion ah Mr Diggory if you please" Cedric stood up and everyone whistled
"And Professor Flitwick you choose a Ravenclaw" she smiled he looked around and I was looking at my nails and rubbing my bump I was three months along now and I looked like I was ready to pop
"Miss Blackthorn" I looked up
"If you please" I shrugged and stood up making my way to across from Cedric
"Okay now Mr Diggory place one hand on her waist and hold her other Miss Blackthorn rest your spar hand on Cedric's shoulder" We did as we were told
"Professor Flitwick if you please" there was a bigger space cause of my bump the music began to play I knew how to dance
"Miss Blackthorn you lead" she began to count and I lead
"Now everyone. The girls stand eagerly the boys did nothing until they were threaten with deducted points. ME and Cedric continued to after a bit when Professor sprout stopped me
"Hold on you two" she muttered a spell
"This will make you light so you won't hurt each other for what I'm about to teach you. Everyone if you halt for a moment two watch our champion and partner." They all looked at us now i want you to step, step lift and repeat that going around the floor" We followed her and Ced lifted me up like I was a feather before putting me back down.
"Great now everyone" she called. When we finished we all left
"Here I'll carry your stuff" he grabbed my bag and my books we walked along the corridor.
"Why have you started sitting with the Gryffindor?" he questioned
"Because they accept me. The Ravenclaw's no longer see me as a good role model and refuse to include me. Your friends seize the opportunity to torment and call me names. Gryffindor they just don't care. Fred and George are hilarious. I've adopted 'Mione and Harry as my siblings as for Ron well he's a friend" he nodded
"I'm sorry for what they said. I bugged them about it till they told me. What happened to us" i stopped
"Cedric this is easy for you. You don't have to get bigger or listen to all the comments. We drifted apart because it's hard for you to understand what I'm going through. Which is okay just difficult sometimes." I explained
"I guess saying sorry won't help" I shook my head
"So have you figured out the second task yet" I wondered
"No it screeches above land" he mutters
"really" he nodded
"Cedric you are one of the smartest people I know but does the obvious always pass you by?" I ask
"what do you mean"
"You need to figure it out if in a few weeks your still clueless then I'll tell you" we entered charms and began the lesson.
