Beep, beep, beep, "arg," I reached to hit the alarm clock. Unfortunately, I couldn't put my grandma on snooze.

"Emma, wake up!" She called through the door.

I groaned and rolled out of bed. "I'm up!" I called back. I slowly got dressed and made my way to the kitchen. "No Justin?" I asked grandma when I looked at his empty seat.

"Must be running late," she shrugged and placed a plate in front of me.

"Thanks," I pushed my eggs back and forth while yawning. "I'll text him and see if he still needs a ride."

"Alright, I'm going to get dressed. Have a good day." She left the room as I pressed send. A moment later, Justin responded, 'yeah, sorry I'm running late'. Justin charged through the door as I read the text.

"Bacon Monday, where's the bacon?" he questioned.

"Sorry, I ate it all." I took a bite of my bacon.

"Yeah right," he went to the counter and grabbed a piece of his own.

"Hurry up," I grabbed my backpack from beside the door and my keys from the hook.

"Okay, okay," he took more bacon and followed me out the door. We drove down the street before Justin spoke again. "I'm soooo tired!"

"I told you going to a party on a Sunday night was stupid!" I flicked on my blinker.

"It was not! You had fun!"

"I didn't say it wasn't fun, I'm just saying I'm not ready for my math quiz today."

"You'll do fine! Besides, it's not like we go to parties every Sunday."

"Whatever," I climbed out of the car and walked towards the school with Justin at my side.

"Ah, you two look so cute!" Ally joined us as we passed through the front doors.

"What?" I asked, sure I hadn't heard her right.

Ally looked at Justin with a scared look on her face and then turned back to me. "I just love your outfits today." She answered before hooking her arm through mine and leading me into the school.

"Thanks," I looked down at my sweatshirt and jeans. I would have worn sweat pants that day, but I told myself it was too lazy to wear sweatpants with a sweatshirt.

At lunch I caught Justin and Ally arguing. "What's up guys?" I took the seat across from Justin.

"Nothing," Justin answered quickly.

"Oh hey, Boo," Ally called to Vince just as quickly. I turned around to see Vince walk up and take the seat next to me.

"There's my favorite girl!" Vince gave me an awkward half hug before I could push him off. "I enjoyed dancing with you last night."

"It was the worst minute of my life," I added a shudder for effect and the hole table laughed.

"Anyways, party at my house Friday. You'll come, won't you baby?" Vince nudged me.

"Uh, sure," I looked at Justin who was no help. He wasn't even looking back at me.

"Perfect!" Vince gave me a sloppy kiss on the cheek and then talked to his real girlfriend.

The rest of the day was pretty boring. Caitlyn wanted to know what she missed at the party, and Ally wanted to know why I put up with Justin and drove him to school every day. I told her I had no idea why I would drive such a jerk every day, earning me a stuck out tongue from Justin. And of course, Vince hit on me about ten more times.
