I woke up to a stifled giggle. I blinked a few times to see that the giggle had come from Charlotte who was holding my phone in one hand and covering her mouth with the other.
"Hey!" I tried to stand up to grab my phone, but my legs were tangled in my blanket and I fell to the floor causing Charlotte to laugh more. That's when I realized I was asleep on the couch, or more accurately, on Justin. I had fallen asleep with my head in his lap. He too must have been sleeping until either Charlotte or I woke him because he seemed quite confused and a bit amused at my inability to get off the couch gracefully. "Shut up and give me my phone back." I grumbled giving up on actually getting up.
"Fine," Charlotte tossed it in my direction, "I already sent the picture to myself anyways. The date you two started dating isn't really a good passcode." She shrugged skipping back to my room. "By the way, your alarm is going off and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off." She called over her shoulder.
I blushed and tried not to look at Justin. "You're passcode is the day we started dating?" I didn't want to look at him with my face red so I nodded, thankful that my hair covered my face. I heard him get up and then his hand came into view offering me help. I took it and let him pull me up. "You're so adorable," he whispered in my ear while pulling me into a hug.
To avoid looking up at him with my cheeks burning red again, I unlocked my phone to find the picture Charlotte sent herself. It was me and Justin asleep on the couch, me laying across it and him reclining in it. My head rested on his lap while one of his hands covered one of mine on my stomach. I would have thought it was really cute if I wasn't so embarrassed about being found like that.
I showed the picture to Justin and he smiled at it. "Send it to me?" I shook my head but did it anyways. "Oh and good morning beautiful," he kissed the top of my head.
"Morning," I mumbled back going to my room to turn off the alarm.
Charlotte was getting ready for school, humming along to some song I didn't recognize. "You know, you two are adorable together, right?" I ignored her.
"I'm gonna go make breakfast." I went to the guest room to wake Vince first. I hadn't spent any time in there since I moved in. We always kept the door closed. I knocked, but when there was no answer I pushed the door open to find Vince laying there starring up at the ceiling. "Vince?"
"I don't know if she was mad at me." His voice was empty.
"I'm sure she's not." I wasn't really. Ally could have been furious at him for not telling her sooner, but right now he really needed a friend and hopefully she was being one to him too. "It's time to get ready for school. You can see her there and find out."
He nodded, but didn't move to get up.
Justin was gone when I went back out to the living room so I assumed he went home to get ready for the day. I started frying up bacon and went to change. When I came back, Justin was at the stove flipping pancakes. I snuck up behind him and wrapped my arms around him. "Thanks for staying last night," I said resting my head on his shoulder blade.
He spun around and placed both his hands on either side of my face. "Anytime," he kissed me on the forehead.
"Hey!" I pushed myself up to kiss him properly on the lips before he could spin around again.
We had all piled in my car for school. Charlotte claimed the front seat, and when both the guys tried to protest about it, I used my authority as driver to quiet them. I was right, Ally wasn't mad at Vince, she was just worried about him like the rest of us.
Everything seemed normal at school, except lunch was a bit quiet until Justin and Vince got into an argument about some football player I had never heard of. Ally and I shared a look at the primitiveness of our boyfriends, but then smiled anyways. I took everyone back to my house after school, Ally included since Vince was normally her ride home.
