He gives you his love, you sleep with doubts
Now you see that comfort isn't what it seems to be
He's so sincere
The opposite of me
But I'm still the bad guy that you can't stop lovingPiper laid on her bed, staring up blankly at the darkness inside her room. She looked over at the clock slowly, 1am. She looked over to her right and saw the sleeping outline of him, her fiancée. She was comfortable where she was, but deep down she knew she craved something more. She tried to stop her train of thought because it always lead to the same place. Alex. It was funny how completely different they were. But Piper felt secure with Larry. And that was enough..... Wasn't it? She knew the answer to that and it scared her, so she closed her eyes, hoping for sleep to swallow her.
You'll be the Cinderella, him the jester that's not funny and even though I'm not Prince Charming
I'm your love and your dilemma and like the bad guy in the novels I'm the bad guy with one virtueShe opened her eyes slowly to see she was in a castle of her own dream creation.
"Oh no, here we go." She said softly as she stood in a white poofy dress. She had had this dream many times before. She would walk down the aisle, she would be about ready to marry Larry, then Alex would burst in and interrupt.
"C'mon Piper, we're so late." Polly rushed in and started guiding her towards the big dance hall where the ceremony was held every time. The same guests, the same decorations, and Larry standing there, smiling that goofy smile that Piper had learn to love. They stood at the door. "Nervous?" Piper shook her head and Polly smiled. "Good." The music began to play. "In you go." She took a deep breath and walked through the door, her breath leaving her body as she looked at the decorations, they were way different from other times. There was baskets of roses hanging from the ceiling, white flower petals on the path that she was to walk, lilies lining the sides of the benches placed inside the room, her guests were all smiling at her. But a glimmer at the alter was what caught her attention. Shinning armor glimmered with the setting sun. There he was, her knight. She smiled, when suddenly her knight turned, giving q wide smile. Only it wasn't Larry, it was Alex, standing there, waiting for her princess. Her hair was over her shoulder, her armor clinking as she turned to face Piper. Pipers heart suddenly began to hammer almost painfully in her chest, her feet not carrying her fast enough. She got closer and closer, Alex reaching out a gloved hand to help her to the top of the small steps at the alter. Just as they were about to touch, her alarm blaring woke her up. She woke up panting, a slight sweat on her forehead.
He doesn't understand the process of when and how to kiss you
I on the other hand look for the weak point that takes you higher
He can't even imagine that mysterious pact with your soul and body
You would have to be born again to see if in another life you would love himShe let herself slump down onto the bed, putting an arm over her eyes. She felt a set of lips shoved into her cheek. In vain she hoped it was Alex, but deep down she knew it'd never be. Her mornings with Alex were different. Screw messy hair, morning breath, no make up, Alex always woke her up with a long and sweet kiss, which usually led to a quickie if they had the time. It was an unspoken agreement they had, and they both loved it. She uncovered her eyes and looked over at the open restroom door where Larry stood in his boxers, brushing his teeth. Yep, completely different, and it bothered her. She had learned to love him, when with Alex it just came so naturally.
He doesn't the skills to rip me out of your chest
I, that failed you so much, keep being your owner
Tell him to ask me how I won your heart
Tell him to write down my tricks on paperPiper had never brought up her lesbian relationship with Alex. Larry was an insecure little man, and he would live in constant fear that Piper would want Alex again, she just knew it, so she rather just pretend it never existed. He'd never be able to replace her. Even though Alex fucked up so many times, she would choose her over him. Larry could say the same things, do everything the same and it would still be her. Because she knew that what she had with Alex couldn't be forced. It couldn't be said. It just existed and it was killing her that she let that go because of a rough patch in their relationship.
It's not enough to be well mannered and faithful
If you fantasize with the bad guy that makes your skin crawlJust remembering how they made love, how she made her beg and moan was enough to make goosebumps appear on her skin. She had never felt that with Larry, not even in the middle of it. It wasn't bad but it just wasn't for her, it wasn't what her body craved. Her body, her being, her soul, it all screamed out for only one person, one person who she had no idea where she was. She felt the heavy feeling in her heart, and the sinking feeling in her stomach. Her phone began to beep at a phone call and she answered.
"Hello?" Piper answered groggily.
He gives you his love, you sleep with doubts
And I'm still be bad guy you can't stop lovingA husky chuckle was heard on the other end of the line.
"Still not a morning person, huh Pipes?" Pipers hand flew to her mouth, covering the scream that wanted to escape, the only thing that managed to come out was tears until she stuttered.
"A-Alex!"
